If you had been paying attention a long time ago. You would know I was intouch with the church, the newspapers and chamber and many organizations trying to find out who the man was. I did extensive research by phone and emails. The cost of an ad with pic was more than I could afford. The church would not tell me who had offices in the visitors center that yr. It was suggested he might have been a pilot...as they contracted with airlines to transport personnel to locations. I got ZERO with this - anyone want to give it a try go for it. I have the pic that shows the Assembly Hall behind him and the close up I cropped from the photo....Duane DID NOT want this man to see him so he left the area from which I took the photo. My first try was BEFORE I got a computer in 2000 and then TWICE since then. Each episode involved lots of phone calls, lots of emails and lots of time. If I had told them he was connected to Cooper - I probably would have found out who he was. Maybe that is what I should do NOW by contacting the news media in Salt Lake and tell them I think this guy had something to do with the skyjacking in 1971. Since I plan on going public one more time - maybe this is the WAY to do IT. Get a journalist to run the pic - with the statement. WHO was this guy? Did he SKYjack a plane in 1971? Hey if anyone of you want to give it a try GO for it! A man would probably do better than I did and be able to keep it together better. ANYONE interested - I guarantee you if we find out who it was - the thread could SOLVE the case...or at least what Duane's connections to this man was....whatever Duane's connections to this man were - he DID not want the Man to see him! THE PIC was taken I believe the last wk of Sept. It was warm in Salt Lake that day because I have a pic of me in shorts. That evening it got Cool in THE DALLES where we spent the night. So I estimate the time of day around NOON. The next day I wore pants...and it turned off Cool while we were in Seattle for a few days. I just know that Englebert Humperdinck was playing in Tahoe on the last leg of our trip (the Tahoe trip was unexpected) after we left Seattle. Someone did find the dates on that at one time. First, that man does not have on a uniform. I am not a LDS but I have known plenty of LDS people over the years and have never seen one wearing a "uniform" in related to a church function and that includes Temple Square. JO Replies Find an old suit or a uninform that even resembles what the man had on. It has something on the cuff. It had been suggested to me the man was with the band or a music instructor or perhaps he was dressed for some function he was to perform at. BUT he had OFFICE space in the Vistors Centre. I have never found anything that resembles what that man had on. HAVE YOU? His appearance is clean cut and distinctive. I still believe the case he was carrying held a musical instrument - it has corner clips on it - just the way a musical instrument case had. So far, you havent even come close. Didn't you say that you did not provide the FBI with possibly the best source of Duane's DNA: his wristwatch? It's a bit hypocritical to complain about the FBI if you failed to give them everything you had which might be relevant. Even now, if you came up with something probative I'll bet the FBI would pay attention. But you dont have probative evidence. EVERY bit of evidence you have is ambiguous. The alleged good stuff has all disappeared (parking stub, airline ticket, money in the van, bank bag, parachute hardware etc). I do hope you find some closure on your quest Jo, but doubt if you will. 377 Mr 377 perhaps U need to sit down with the agent of record and TALK to him YOURSELF. The FBI was aware I wanted to go to Spokane and find that old record from before the 50's and some other suspicious things that surfaced - I was in the process of trying to sell some things to finance the trip, but I was told putting DUANE in a CHUTE will NOT put him on the PLANE. As for providing DNA - that won't fly either. The DNA and the prints are COMPROMISED in many many ways and the do NOT know if COOPER was the source of the minute particials they did extract from the items. Same with the notes sent to the media - even if Duane's DNA and PRINTS and/or those of his wife of the day are all over them - THEY will NOT put WEBER on the plane. They are aware Duane had a family member who lived just a few miles from where one of the notes was mailed...the one with the CODE which is Duane's Army number and Navy number using the #7 as the turnaround number. Even that will NOT put him on the PLANE! QUESTION I want answered - WHAT do they HAVE regarding Cooper they HAVE never made public - is that ONE thing what will put a SUSPECT on the plane? Obviously it is not prints or dna! How are they going to CLOSE the file - well that is HOW! If the FBI is holding an ACE and they revealed that ACE then people will go out there and try to find an old item - for instance - cuff links to match the tie tac, but even that won't put a suspect ON THE PLANE. THEY want PHYSICIAL evidence that they will be able to VERIFY. NOT how it was worded, but just a gut feeling on my part...only one piece of evidence was discussed and that was a 20. Without PHYSICAL EVIDENCE - the case is CLOSED and only physical evidence will put a suspect on the plane! Therefore the case is being CLOSED. Just someone saying they had physical evidence will not count - it has to be the actual evidence. I have a book, a picture of a girl, 3 watches, his remains, his letters, the stories told by old friends, his records (stating the scar on his hand), his uncanny resemblance to the composite...those are a few of the physical things I have. The other items I did NOT understand - I threw some away and sold other items (like the hardware to the chute) at a garage sale. I had the cloth and leather satchel but Himmelsbach told me it had NOTHING to do with the incident - so I did NOT go to the Helping Hands and try to retrive it. LATER I find that item DID have some importance and NOW it is only MY WORD and the word of one WITNESS who described this same item to me right down to the color. It was an OH MY GOD moment! Now since I have read other accountings by this witness I am not sure I trust the judgement. Age and/or illness or a combination of both do play a lot with our memories - therefore this testimony is not anymore valid than my claim of what Duane Weber told me. The Cooper case is CLOSE and the ONLY thing that will raise an eyebrow is the mention of something that puts the subject on that plane - for example one of the 20's ONE thing that really bugs me is WHY that man in SALT LAKE meant so much to Duane WEBER. The identity of that man is a KEY to the background of WEBER and to the identity of Cooper.... Duane focused on Cooper related things - only I didn't know they were Cooper related on that trip of 1979. Track that man and we know the back ground of Weber with him. I actually sent the photo to Cook and to Gray and to others - all my yrs of research did NOT help me find out who that man was. I have a picture of him He has on some kind of uniform. He worked in the Visitors Centre He was on his way to his car when the pic was taken. The picture was taken in Sept of 1979. The photo is attached one more time. Number ONE - the FBI did LITTLE on Duane Weber other than to come to my house 1997 (nine months after I contacted them) and make copies of what little I had. Then a little over a yrs later I got the letter about the fingerprints. That was the end of their investigation into Weber until I called the AGENT and asked for ANSWERS in 2000 and that is WHEN I found the FBI had ONLY DONE a cursive investigation of WEBER. They did NOT even have a GOOD background check on him and the agent of record was OBLIVIOUS as to what he did have. Since 2001 I tried to talk to them but NEVER got to the agent for RECORD. Nothing I sent them was ever READ! Agent CARR came aboard and things GOT even worse - nothing I told him in this thread or sent to him at the FBI was ever put into the file or discussed with anyone other than himself and this thread. He was self SERVING and that meant in no way was Weber to be considered a suspect - NOT on his watch! NOW does that sound like a FAIR evaluation? Had it NOT been for the THREAD I would NEVER EVER have been heard by the FBI. CARR made a mistake coming here - he expected to be able too diss an old lady. Then he learned I was a little more than he could handle. Since I now KNOW the FBI did NOT get ALL the info I provide to this thread and to CARR. NONE of my info sent to HIMMELSBACH got thru other than the letter the PI helped me compose in the very beginning - THIS IS NOT OVER! If the FBI cannot take the overwhelming things about DUANE and put them together SHAME ON THEM! The poor agent of record now is overwhelmed and to make matters worse JT made a negative exploitation of Weber and NOTHING I told him was EVER relayed to the FBI His participation in the Cooper saga was also self serving he he was NOT privey to private information about any suspect. I actually believed he was acting on behalf of the FBI and for yrs he was my source! What A fool I was! It took this thread to show me what he really WAS! I had used Mr. H and JT as my FBI contacts and little other than the letter the PI helped me with had actually gotten to a REAL investigator. Little of what I told Himmelsbach and NONE of what I told JT were ever actually relayed to the actual AGENT of record other than that one letter dated 1996 I sent to the FBI....stupid OLD woman didn't know you had to actually call the FBI yourself or it was as it never happened. When I did call I was upset over something JT had said and the mouthpiece had NO IDEA what I was talking about! A lot of people in the beginning of my search were self serving and that was NOT obvious to me at that time. Not really until 2004 did I KNOW that basically IOTA of what I had presented had EVER been seen by the AGENT of RECORD. The moment I found the scar issue addressed in one of his old criminal records and addressed by one of the witnesses - I knew I would eventually find more things. AND I did. As late as 2 yrs ago - the FBI could NOT even begin to figure out Weber's background and they still can't because they cannot focus on just one person....the media frenzy caused a barage of suspects....after 2001. Had they taken the Scar issue and have done a better background search - they would have put him in a chute and now they say that is NOT enough. I do NOT know if the AGENT of record ACTUALLY knows anything about the SCAR! This is how fragmented the system is right now. What I have now is a conglomeration of what I did have and now coversations with two of the crew members - and thru the thread learning things about Duane's past even THE FBI had not figured out! Had it NOT been for this Thread and some of the very intelligent and tolerable individuals on it - MY STORY would NEVER HAVE BEEN HEARD! Even now I am but a voice in the wilderness to the FBI, because there were multiple agents involved and some did NOT even record my contacts, much less check it out. The old report read disqualified based on prints - Any info coming to them about Weber was ignored and file 13 ed....all handled by a mouth piece. The AGENT of record still does NOT have ALL of the information, because it became so massive I myself can no longer keep up with who has what and I never know if emails have been delivered and read. SO there is ONLY one way to END this and I am not sure I am able to do it. I do NOT interview well - as with the thread - I cannot stay focused on what I need to focus on and I forget to bring up important factors that are connectors and not known to others...For me to carry the important papers with me would virtually be impossible and I am really not able to travel at this time. Everything has gotten out of order and I can't find the things I am looking for - When Sluggo was her a few yrs ago - it was NOT so over whelming but still more than he had time to see or read....he had a mind set and one can not change that with what I had. I can't remember to tell anyone person everything that needs to be told. I have told most of it in this thread and some things I hinted at but did NOT expose them in their entirety. It is so massive I could never do an outline and try to have all of the pertinent things in order - so I don't believe it will ever get done. I can wish and I can try, but my energy and my strengh to be able to find and locate the things has been exhausted. It would take days of someone with me day and night to get everything in an order that covered ALL of the bases. It is OVERWHELMING! I am only good for about 2 or 3 hours a day and each day that just gets more and more difficult. I do NOTHING when I first get up - that is my coffee, my paper and puzzle time - somedays I never finish my puzzles or read my mail (that is a BAD DAY). My best time is in the evening. Plus NO one seemed interested in the fact that they type of Titanium you guys referred to was manufactured in Denver and used in Golf Clubs. Custom made Golf Clubs would expose the tie to the substance. Why does Georger NOT attack that? In a few months everyone will say GOODBYE to Cooper. So you guys need to field your questions NOW, but do NOT expect the FBI to provide U with any info. In my opinion Marla damaged the Cooper case to the breaking point and now the CASE is BEING CLOSED! Period - as unsolved. There is NO one to prosecute! THere is NO proof to put any suspect on the plane. Galen knows this - why the HELL do you think he has been so closed mouth? After 40 yrs so many of the facts are still unknown and because of case agents being young and not grasping the old mind set - a lot of things went unexplored and ignored. How can a man VANISH without leaving ONE clue behind. The FBI has NOT presented ALL of the things they should have. One agent has said it will take a 20 to put a suspect on the plane, but I think there is more than that which will put the right Cooper on the plane. It will take an encitefully and long study of everything the FBI has - that will take another 40 yrs! If the CREW had been brought together and their recitations as given to the FBI in the first 10 yrs had been analyzed - Cooper would have been discovered. There is SUCH a THING as KEEPING TOO MUCH information private. There is MORE than a 20 that will put Cooper on that plane and I will believe that till the day I die. I know who Cooper was and I just do not understand why others do not get it. I am the one who lived with the man and I know how he lived his life. I still think MOUSE (Billy) could put Weber on that plane - but, did the person who lost him think they left him someplace else and perhaps MOUSE was never listed as something missing from the plane. The witnesses have NEVER seen the items I have presented about Cooper - and NO one but myself has seen MOUSE. Yea, 377 it is your fault I am on the MOUSE kick again. One would think the prisons would have made pictures of identifing scars in those days. The Folsom/SanQuentin file specifically describes the scar on his hand. I can pull that RIGHT off of the file - but too tired to do so tonight. You will note my posts are getting just a little more direct - I have to put this stuff out there or it will be buried for ever by the WANNABES and those who only want to profit thru Cooper - these are NOT GENUINE people who really care that their actions have only muddied the waters and kept the case from actually being solved. I had never posted Duane's SS records and I didn't see you even note anything nor did I expect you to. Exactly what is there U 2 want to discuss that I might be interfering with? Another Story the old friend told me today. Both of the guys worked for the same insurance company. The leads for the insurance agents were obtained through lending institutions. This was a regional meeting and the company presented its NEW system to be incorporated by the agents regarding the contact manner. In the past the leads were called, you identified yourself and why you were calling...and attempted to set an appt to go to their home and explain the coverage available. The new requirement would be that each door was knocked on and no phone appointments. Duane got up and went to the back of the room and he was walking around like a caged animal - with the irritation growing by the moment. Duane had a way of using his facial expression when he was agitated. The speaker asked if any of the agents would liike to share their opinion of this new policy. Duane SWAGGERED to the front of the podium (he was the top producer). He turned his back and bent over - made a large FART and then swaggered out of the room! This would be the SAME company Duane would retire from in 1988, but not until after he left them 2 or 3 times...the same company from whom he was granted the Manager of the Yr award - the yr he was to go out on disability. He left NOT one dry eye in the room as he did NOT take credit for his own accomplishments, but to his staff and his wife. I had heard the story before that night in St Croix, but for some reason just forgot about it. How could ONE forget that story? The right price for Duane's watches is market price. If you can prove Duane was Cooper and can prove you have the watch worn during the skyjack it is worth a LOT. Don't sell too soon Jo. I was talking to an old friend of Duane's tonight and updating him about what all has been going on. I asked him about certain expression - (not going to print them here) but he mentioned them on his own and he does not read the thread and we only talk a couple of times a yr and only briefly. It was short but interesting conversation - regarding a subject we had NOT discussed before...expression use by Duane. An article by Wild Bill Yensen (MYC53) still intrigues me. My Billy the Mouse - what does it mean and why did 377 have to make that post? Paperlegs and Scott Mouse Warner had a relationship and Duane claimed and the wife vouch for this - had a relationship with Paperlegs. During 1962 and 1968 - Paperlegs was involved in Intermountian Communications and Duane was JOHN Collins. Ed Horan also didn't exist until 1962. I want to know MORE about Scott Mouse Warner (RDD-69)? Who was he and how old was he and were all did he live and who he was married to. Was he at one time a supply person during WWII - probably not, but MOUSE is very important to me and to the story of Cooper. Perhaps not the right MOUSE, but a mouse never the less. Almost anything related to jumping or chute or supplies or fires relating to MOUSE - I search and research, but I cannot find ANYTHING on this Scott Mouse Warner. Can anyone help. I am sure it is just a FIELD search, but I try not to leave any stones unturned. The entire story got my attention and the other thing was the riddle that Paperlegs used! That riddle solved any doubt in my mind that Duane Weber (aka Johnnie Collins) and Paperlegs were connected for a period of time. The ex-wife said they were and she knew Paperlegs wife, but I could never verify any of this. Wild Bill states his last jump was with Petersen in 1961 - and that makes sense since in 1962 he was INTERMOUNTIAN COMMUNICATION....OPERATING OUT OF CANON, LEADVILLE AND A PLACE IN W.COLORADO...seems like it started with an H. Areas Duane personally showed me and talked about and about the men who trained there, but did NOT mention he was one of them. The ex from 1962 to 1972 met him there and they lived there and in AZ and many many places under the name of Johnnie Collins and she called herself more than one name during those yrs...therefore indicating she had knowledge he was running from the law. Ed Horan did NOT exist until 1962 and his connection to Weber came out of WA, OR, ID and CO. There was a man connected to Duane's past out of Spokane with the last name of Harris. I met this man's son in Denver. Duane asked him about his father in Spokane - the father and Duane were about the same age. Yet, the FBI told me if I put Duane in a CHUTE - that did NOT put him on the PLANE! Now you guys know why I want to go to Spokane, but I am unable to do so and putting Duane in a CHUTE does NOT put him on the plane. When Duane was talking to Harris Jr. he asked him a question - one I had forgotten about. I won't discuss that question at this time and it is why I want to go to Spokane. When I found the criminal record prior to 1950 out of Spokane - I have not been able to let go of the other memories of that discussion. Duane talked with Harris Jr about the places in Spokane - about sections of the area and where they lived and names of roads. Duane used WE live or we stayed in that conversation and I assumed it was with one of this wives. That could only be the mother of Zona called Edna 1943 to 1949 (approx) or The woman who knew him as Johnnie Collins 1962 - 1972. The damn 1st and last name of Harris is so common I would never find him. I wonder if there was a smoke jumper by the name of HARRIS in that area or a man who was connected to the Forestry. Hell, why keep this quiet at this time - the name I am looking for is Phil Harris and NOT not the one time county commissioner - Phil Harris evidently was a very common name in Spokane in the 40's, 50's 60's (the only yrs I am looking at), but did NOT know how to connect occupations and I do know he was about Duane's age (Duane was born in 1924). Correct - I have not read or heard of a watch being mention - if so I have 3 or 4 I will sell for the right price! Supposedly Cooper had a dark brown or black briefcase when he boarded the plane. A cloth satchel comes into play from a story told to me by one of the crew members as how the money went out of the plane.l....not in a whitesh bank bag as Mr H has stated. My understand the only written not was the one he gave Florence and he demanded it back. All other notes were written by the crew members - Tina scrible notes regarding Cooper's demands....and Florence made notes in the cockpit. Right on about Ckret - how much of what he said and claimed actually came out of the files. Carr violated many protocols in this thread...and why I do NOT like him. Evidently the agents who followed CARR have had it difficult because of CARR's activities on this thread. Look at how much of JO's STORY has been HIJACKED by others who later claim their suspect was Cooper. I never bought into the Cooper Comics but Marla and Blevins did - they swallowed it hook and sinker. The FBI never had a better suspect than Weber - You can take those word to the BANK! Can you tell me exactly how this is known, Jo. Thanks. Further, when were the cigarettes lost? Where were they lost, and who lost them? When they were lost - what I can tell you is they did NOT have them in 1998 or in 2001! This was something explored after I received the 1998 letter from the FBI about the prints and possibly was generated by Pasternac. I would have to go thur PAGES AND PAGES and VOLUMES of emails in 4 inch binders to find it. I believe this became known around 2000 or 2001 and was one of the reasons I went public. It was part of our arguments about the FBI having NOT investigated DUANE WEBER! I can tell you it was BEFORE May of 2001.....this was discussed and at that time they could NOT find the smokes. I'm working up a profile on the physical characteristics of DB Cooper, and some behavioral ones. If I've left anything out, please let me know - thanks. The Hunt, Chapter 4.4, Who was DB Cooper? Here is what we know about DB Cooper: First, we know for sure that his name was not DB Cooper, since the initials were a result of a misunderstanding between a reporter and a Portland police detective. The man known to us as DB Cooper, however, introduced himself to the NWO ticket counter as “Dan Cooper,” and that is the name that the ticket agent, Dennis Lysine, wrote on the skyjacker’s boarding pass. The man calling himself Dan Cooper was a male Caucasian in his mid-to-late 40s, or possibly even early 50s, which is very old to be conducting rigorous – and inventive - criminal activity. Cooper was wearing a dark brown or black suit, white shirt and thin clip-on black tie. Over this he wore a lightweight black raincoat. He wore loafers or some kind of slip-on shoe that might have come to his ankles. He may have been wearing a set of thermal underwear beneath his business attire. The detailed physical descriptions given by the passengers vary, but there is a general consistency in their accounts: Cooper’s hair was dark brown or black and short, Insert by JO: dark black/brown - hair representative of the temporary dyes did in 1971 which also relaxed the curls and created a shiny look and parted on the left side. It may have been wavy in the manner that is called “marcelled.” He was identified as having “dark, piercing eyes,” that flight attendant Florence Schaffner declared were brown. He may have had a square jaw, or a saggy chin. He was about six-foot tall or maybe six-one. Some fellow passengers thought he might have been five-ten. Cooper was trim and was estimated to be about 175 pounds. He also had an olive complexion, leading some to believe that he might have been of Mediterranean heritage. Insert by JO: Duane's complexion was always compare to the movie star who played in Casino - brain will not let me remember his name.(ANTHONY QUINN)! He also carried a cloth-like brief case Insert by JO: Not sure that information is entirely accurate, but do believe the money went out of that plane in a cloth and leather satchel not a whitesh bank bag. Note never heard it was a burlap sack and the paper bag was a small lunch bag size and toted a brown paper bag, also reported to be a burlap sack. We later learned that he had a pair of wrap-around sunglasses and a knife of some kind that he used to cut parachute cords. He wore no hat. The ticket agent said Cooper stood off by himself in the passenger waiting area, staring out the window until the boarding call was issued for Flight 305. In general, Cooper looked and acted like a business man heading home for the Thanksgiving holiday. But he did attract some attention, and NWO gate agent Hal Williams reported that one of 305’s passengers stood out from the rest – a guy dressed all in black and who looked like a “lone wolf,” according to Geoffrey Gray in Skyjack. Cooper spoke with no discernible accent, leading some to believe that he might have been raised in the Midwest. He had no visible tattoos, scars or distinguishing anatomical features that are known publicly. However, it is rumored that the FBI knows of a small scar on Cooper’s hand that it has not revealed to the public. INSERT BY JO Weber's San Quentin and Folsom file note the scar on his hand. Was unaware the witnesses disclosed the scar! However, he smoked Raleigh cigarettes, and left eight aboard the plane. The flight attendants said that his fingers were discolored from the tobacco smoke, suggesting that he was a heavy smoker. Further, he wore no rings or any jewelry, but he wore a watch. Was there EVER a description of this watch? Cooper drank a Bourbon and water during the two and one-half hour wait over Sea-Tac. Himmelsbach describes Cooper's behavior as desperate and crude, but the flight attendants describe Cooper as mostly calm and thoughtful – a “gentleman” one recalled. Cooper used a noteworthy colloquial expression, “funny stuff.” During the refueling of the craft he warned the crew not to attempt any “funny stuff or I’ll do the job.” Cooper was very knowledgeable of the plane and possibly parachuting: He knew the requirements for flying a 727 so that a parachute jump would be successful. That was classified information in 1971. Insert by JO: That information was available prior to 1971 and one person involved with Boeing received a phone call that was put thur - the man felt responsible for possibly providing Cooper with the information he needed. This man was a friend of Duane's family, but the FBI never looked into it. He was familiar with avionic terminology, and properly identified the intercom radio as an “interphone,” and the stairway used by airlines to load passengers on the runway as an “airstairs.” Insert by JO: Aftstairs His use of a bomb was considered by the FBI to be a “game changer,” and thwarted any effort to rush him from different directions. His choice of destinations – “Mexico City or anywhere in Mexico” – is widely believed to be astute, as it put him in the air corridor known as Victor 23 and over predictable terrain. Cooper’s insistence that the fuel trucks be positioned to the port side of the plane gave him optimum visibility of events outside the plane. His choice of seat 18 E was also optimal for monitoring events in the plane during the hijacking. Similarly, his crowd control was successful, and he had the passengers in the rear of the aircraft moved forward without incident. His use of the flight attendants as couriers kept the cockpit crew at a distance, and minimized his exposure to eye witnesses. Cooper wisely demanded the return of all of his notes. He even pocketed an empty paper match cover he had used from the ashtray. Insert by JO ARE you POSITIVE it was empty1 Cooper also demonstrated a familiarity with the area, noting that McChord Air Base was only 20 minutes from Sea-Tac, and correctly identified the lights of Tacoma from the air as they circled Sea-Tac. Cooper also insisted that meals be brought aboard for the crew, even though they never ate them, and according to Bill Rataczak the German Shepherds brought aboard in Reno to search for the bomb ate the food before doing any sniffing. If true then is it cigarette DNA that they use to rule out suspects? I was not aware that they analysed the cigarette butts for DNA. If they did, I assume they would have compared it to the tie DNA to shore up their conclusion that the tie was Cooper's. 377 I don't know that he said DNA -- just that they were "processed" in the lab. From ckret post: Still looking for the cigarettes, after they were processed in the lab they were sent back to the field. So they are somewhere between Washington DC and Seattle or disposed of. Every spot on the plane possibly touched by Cooper was processed for prints. The seats he was sitting in were actually removed and sent to DC. Since certain evidence I provided to the FBI thur CARR never made it to the succeeding agents - I don't TRUST him one bit. The FBI did NOT even ask me for DNA until 2003 - now put that in your pipe and smoke it. If they had DNA from the cigarettes they would have requested DNA from Duane Weber in 1997 and way before 2003. Logic is all one needs with this. The butts had been LOST prior to Weber being presented as a subject - IF THE FBI had the butts in 1997 when WEBER was presented as a suspect - WHY was his DNA not requested? WHY would they send a letter in 1998 stating Weber's prints did NOT match the prints on the plane? Paper work and recorded phone calls by others - dispute all of the stuff you guys have spent the last 24 hrs discussing. I have the letter from the FBI! I have the receipts for the DNA and the receipts of the return of the DNA. IF THEY HAD DNA IN 1997 - DUANE WEBER's DNA WOULD HAVE BEEN REQUESTED AT THAT TIME....not 5 yrs LATER! The smokes were lost during the time of the McCoy arguments long before Duane Weber ever became a suspect. Supposedly the agent SHOWED his wife and someone else the tie??????? OR so it was claimed. You guys get SO lost in your time frames! Go back in time and you will know the smokes disappeared BEFORE Weber ever became a suspect! The WOMAN was trying to SAVE face and YOU ignored her! Her letter out weighs any recording you co-erced from her with intense leading interviews. What you did regarding these seniors should be prosecuted! You LED two elderly seniors just to get a story - frankly I hope someone makes them aware of your actions on this thread. I would if I knew HOW contact them. Bernie was the only one who had the for-with-all to stand up to you and for that he has been chastized by you in the media. I hope I live long enough to see you get your just rewards - to be disgraced by these seniors coming forward to de-nouce the story about their old friend. One of them refused to be a part of this and another tried to save FACE and you turned your back all for the sake of a damn story I frankly believe will destroy whatever career you might have had as a writer. He was having SO much fun someone decided to take a pic. I am not sure how many of you have ever led a mule with a BODY sitting on the plow, but I am VERY familiar with the process....what is being shown in the photo is NOT safe. The person sits on the plow and he uses the reins to make the mule stop or go. If the plow is properly weighted no one need sit on it. There are 2 different types of plows used.... We used a plow and a mule for our garden in KY. Daddy nor the tenant ever sat on the plow, but walked behind the plow. There is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for a second person to lead the mule. One does NOT lead a mule pulling equipment because it is very dangerous. Should the mule bolt - that person stands to be injured. My guess is the photo was STAGED. No other reason for her to be leading the mule and Kenny on the plow. Note the pic lends itself to a "still". She was holding the mule so the mule would NOT move forward for the pic to be made. Otherwise any movement made by Kenny on the reins would have signaled the mule to react. IN FACT her position infront of the mule with someone else holding the reins is not a safe thing to do. I frankly feel that Blevins led each witness and at their age they ATE if up. When he went public they were too humiliated to back down...and just went along for the ride. Well, the ride is OVER! I have been aware of this since DAY one - the first time I saw the photo. I was ORDERED to Stand Down! The more Blevins has tooted KC the more he has humiliated himself and his "witnesses". Should his witnesses decide to do so - he could be accused of Senior Abuse for profit. Lyle had seen a program on TV about Cooper and thought it was a GOOD story and why he contact a movie producer in regards to this...no one seems to know WHY the letter Lyle wrote ended up on a movie producers desk instead of the investigator or the FBI. Does that one take a rocket scientist? My first gut instinct when I realized who Dan Cooper was - WAS to CALL the FBI. Not a producer or a PI. I did contact a PI after the FBI just brushed me off on the phone and the PI helped me put information into a format I sent to Mr. Himmelsbach. Mr. Himmeslbach was who provided the physical evidence we photo copied to the FBI...Mr. H. is the only reason the FBI even investigated Weber in the first place. NOTHING Blevins can state about KC's financial affairs is realistic. I have all of the actual IRS TAX reports back to 1969 - ALL of the W-2's and 1099's and any other report of earned income and what was deducted. If someone wants to argue the ACTUAL tax reports - GO for it! U loose! Blevins I really hope you do NOT do your own taxes and if so that you only have earned income as reported on you W2. There ARE other kinds of incomes, but you obviously HAVE to ignore that to make YOUR story fly about KC fly! Definitely Weber would be one of the suspects and I also believe there will be one none of you expected - Coffelt!. Vickies father makes a really interesting story - because he disappeared off the earth in that time frame. Frankly I do not believe much would or could be said about KC that could not be readily dissed. As for Drayton - I will leave that alone, because of something I know I have never told. The airport Drayton worked out of has a lot of history regarding other individuals who have been mentioned over the last 40 yrs in regards to Cooper. This has been ignored by the FBI - one has to wonder WHY? One individual who was investigated - met his wife there. Another individual whose name was mentioned also flew in and out of there...and did come up in the history of one DUANE L. WEBER. Since I do NOT go around making sully out of individuals who have not been part of the Cooper world, but I will note there were others questioned and they did NOT make national headlines. One contacted the FBI on his own, because he thought he may have inadvertently provided and confirmed the information Cooper needed to make the jump. Duane knew this individual thru his family and his brother. Surely some of YOU super Sleuth have come across some of these stories - but, NOT one of you ever looked for a link between Cooper and Weber in relation to the articles or the rumors. Excuse me YOU have NO knowledge of this. I have ACTUAL TAX REPORT all the way back to 1968 on Weber and his former SPOUSE. Duane was a keeper of THINGS - HE was PROUD of his accomplishment. The total income produced is off set by expenses and when one is self employed or commissioned no SS is taken out of the check. TAKE that to the BANK! I would love to use a different teminology, but I want to stay in the thread until "others" decide just how to handle things. Wrong! WRONG! WRONG! YOU just do NOT comprehend this AT all NOT AT ALL. Go to your local insurance sales man and ask him he gets paid and how much of his income has SS paid no it. Then ask him how much he paided in Federal taxes on is income. Taxes and SS are treated differently - last lesson you get - go get yourself a real job on commisions for a yr and then show us you tax report .
