How I wish Tina could verify Tosaw's story about the packing card and pin check. If true it would be a huge clue. It would not tell us who Cooper is but we could eliminate suspects with no parachute familiarity. Robert is right about the packing card location. Very obscure. You'd have to know chutes to even know to look for a packing card and you'd have to be familiar with NB 6 or 8 rigs to go right to that location on the rig. 377 Or he could have been a packer for smoke jumpers! The Plane: NOT what I was trying to say. I related a progam that was on TV sometime while we were living in the old house 1988 to 1995. There was a program that showed the 727 testing and men jumping out of it (The clip was from the 60's) - exactly what SNOWMMAN has posted and SNOWMMAN found that clip because of what I said. 377 didn't believe me either - but Snowmman produced the PROOF! JMWAVE: I WAS NOT indicating that the 727 was used by JMWave - but they did buy a couple of the plane or their forerunner. Our trip to FLA was around 1982 to 1987 when Duane took me to where the JMWave USED to have their office. I WAS NOT indicating JMWAVE was still there. I was repeating things Duane told me from his past! Since I knew NOTHING about JMWAVE back then all I was doing was reciting a story he told me. AGAIN: You do NOT know my history and the things I have told and you lump everything together like it is part of ONE thing. I was trying to relate to you his personal connections from the past. Duane was supposedly in prison 1950 to 1958, but we ALL know he showed up in 1957 in ST.PETE. Something the FBI conveniently forgot when Carr recounted Duane's criminal history. 1960 to 1962 - Duane was in Canon City. 1962 -1966 - is anyone's guess! He was off the radar during those yrs.and this has been verified...... This is WHAT I mean - you deliberately ATTACK everything I say and you DO not READ back for the reference. I will explain this ONE last time: Duane and I were watching a program on TV. This program showed the 727 or a forerunner being jump and Duane made a unforgettable comment. His specfic words are lost to me now. He did talk about JM Wave to me and that they used the 727's or another plane that could be jumped in this way. I now forget exactly what he said. I have had a really bad day - health wise. At another time earlier in our marriage on a trip to FL. he talked about the 2 planes that JMWave used. He even showed me the building JMWave housed their operation out of. I just thought it was history, but he used the word WE in this discussion. Right now I do not even remember the location, but it was the same trip he made the stop at that night club where he disappeared for a while and knew the owner - asking for him by name. I was NOT introduced to the man. You will need to find some of my earlier posts about this. The medication has me all messed up right now. Excuse me Mr. Attorney. What I have based what Duane told me is more than a confession he made. HEll, remember I didn't even know who DAN Cooper was until 1 yr and 2 months AFTER he died. You know DAMN well it was happen chance I ever found that out. Had I not have been trying to let a gentleman down - I may NEVER have known who DAN Cooper was! Duane told me he was DANNNNN Coooper. HELL it did NOT mean a thing to me and I DID NOT dwell on it. When he died the only criminal record I had any clue about was his Jefferson thing - which he told me about when he went on the machine 5 yrs before he died. I had invested 12 yrs into the marriage and he was on a machine. I chose NOT to walk away and to let by gones be by bones. He had mentioned what I thought was couple of months in a detention center as a kid and until 1990 that is ALL I knew. Why the HELL tell me he was DAN Cooooper if he was wanting be remembered for something? I didn't know who DAN COOPER was! I did NOT know about all his these arrest records and the prison - I would learn the rest of the story much later thru the FBI and this thread. U R the last person I expected to try that tactic on me. DO U think I am proud of being married to an ex-con? Do you know what it feels like to know I was married to a man who has spent as many yrs in prison as he was married to me? It is a horrible sinking feeling....and it makes me feel dirty - do you understand that! My finding out WHO Dan Cooper was destroyed ALL TRUST I ever had in anyone. DO YOU NOTICE that I TRUST NO ONE. Remember he kept talking about the Van and there being something in it. I didn't find the wallet and NO one but the man who FOUND the wallet knows. Since it was only a few 20's he probably spent them - I expect if I had found the wallet I might have done the same thing (spent the money) - I would not have know their importance. I have a lot of things I am going to sell so I can go back to WA and spend about 3 or 4 wks. Not sure I will be physically able to do it. Need to be in the Spokane area for about one wk - 5 wk days on the ground there. Forestry files and smoke jumper files and also criminal files in the area...after 50 yrs it is basically my depending on News Paper Archives - but back then an arrest was not news. I just found out today it is a 3 hr drive to Spokane so I will have to fly to Spokane and rent a car and then try to drive to Coure d alene and then S to The Dalles area. I seriously doubt I would be able to make the drive so I will have to fly from Spokane to Portland - have some HOT spots I have to see in The Dalles and Washougal and up the line toward Battleground and this time go futher North than I did before. I will find were that old logging road was and if I can indeed seen the lights of a Dam from at area. At this point I will go West - There is another cemetery I need to go to. Then I have to go to Bremerton about some other records and North to the Canadian line and check out a story Weber told me about that. I will end up in Seattle. AT that point I come home or I go public - I suppose it will ALL depend on WHAT the FBI does and what I have to confront them with. I might need someone to bail me out of jail if what CARR said happens...he said I could get in BIG trouble. Evidently the FBI thinks I am off my rocker and crazy and delusional....at least that is how Gray referred to me -right! Blevins - that file is fat because MOST of it I provided! Also DUANE had an extensive background. Something other suspects did not have. I expect that no other suspect that has been considered had a fraction of the criminal background Weber had. If the FBI is using the DNA and the Prints - WEBER has NOT been officially dismissed. Who made the jump? Will his DNA match familia DNA of a guy who lived in the Washougal area - or perhaps Vickies father - a man who just went POOF! Considering what I have recently found - the FBI missed a lot about WEBER! Hard to believe they could just let these 'little' things fly by them....and the only reason I consider OTHER POSSIBLITIES when I address my position to the authorities. If indeed the FBI closed the file on WEBER then they better get ready for a hurricane in WA. I may be an old crippled woman, but I am not senile - not yet! I will never ever forget CARR telling me NOT to come to WA because I could GET in trouble. Why I went out there and did not notify the FBI I was there until I got ready to leave. I am fighting to get well enough and to sell somethings to go to WA one more time. What some of you DO NOT know is there is another suspect and Duane and this suspect had a connection....a man Duane told me about. Remember my throwing a name out there I could only put sound alikes to and a names I threw out in the Tavern area and many times on this thread. There is a creditable man in WA/OR who told me a story - when he told me the name I freaked (this has been only in the last few wks). He was bent on my remembering what he was telling me. I sent him lots of pictures, but never knew if he got them. I think he is not well - I could hardly understand some of his words. It seemed important I hear HIS story! You're right. Except for Weber, whom they investigated and officially dismissed years ago. Kind of makes you wonder what they're doing up there in Seattle lately on the case. I think they got burned pretty hard on the Marla Fable and don't know which way to turn anymore. One thing's for sure, they haven't gone public on anything much since that time.

Jo, You twist your own words. I simply point that out to you. I would never be able to dream up some of the stories you put out. Robert99 Robbie Robert, I do NOT dream anything up. I write what I was told, what I saw, recite my memory of conversations with others over the yrs and 98 % of it is documented or recorded. Be if for sure - I don't do what other do and miss quote the facts of the case - such as there were several batteries. If that is true than - the FBI has lied to the public since DAY ONE! YOU and only YOU seem to have a hard time with - facts. Jo has talked to lot of people in the last 17 yrs. Individuals others have coveted a conversation with such as the co-pilot and there was more than one conversation. I am the one who put the co-pilot intouch with Tina - I have the emails to prove it. Well, That email could be taken a lot of ways. The letter I received in 1998 only ruled Weber out on prints - but then they do NOT know if they have Cooper's prints per the grapevine. NO one has been OFFICIALLY ruled out! That is a STRANGE statement. The Bomb: All of us know Tina desribed the battery the size of her arm (we do not know what portion of her arm she was referring to). Now per BR (I sure like the intials better than referring to him as Rat) state it was several batteries. Remember it was only a couple of yrs ago since I put BR intouch with Tina - I have copies of the E-mails that make this clear. BR has had a few TOUGH yrs and I can personally vouch as to how the drugs can dull the memory. The question the statement made contributed to BK is. IS this BR's story and IS this what was told to the FBI in 1971 or is this all a writer taking privileges he should not take in an unclosed case. BR did not see the bomb - only Tina saw the Bomb. 1. Duane had a sister married to a Roach. 2. Duane had mentioned to me this man was a DANGEROUS man and he could kill a person with ONE hand. (I do not know if this is true). he told me some things about the people he was in association with). He told me he worried about his sister and that the man was involved in some serious stuff. 3. I found he was career Military so I do not understand Duane's statement...unless in the beginning of his career he was involved in covert operations or kill assignments (I do not know what the technical words would be. 4. The story Duane told me (I only remember fragments of the conversation) involved parachutes and planes. I do not remember where we were, but in the car on our way to a location west. It would NOT be the trip we made from Atlanta to Denver and the only other trip would be a trip to Ms and the conversation occurred on our way back to CO. 5. I cannot remember why we went to MS. Since I did not keep journals back then I have nothing to trigger anymore of the memory. All other trips we flew other than the time we drove over to Omaha or Oklahoma to a bank where Duane said he had to see a man about some business in early 1980. That was a one day trip or perhaps overnight, but I haven't looked at a map to study the possiblities. 6. The memories above have puzzled me and yet I have NO way of checking them out. I did find in some searches the Horans and the Roachs were connected back a generation or so ago. But, a name is a name and I only know the last name. 7. Someplace in my searches I did find what I thought was Duane's sisters husband and he was retired military (career) and living in TX when he retired...but it may have been her son. 8. The son went to CA and took her to Tx where she died. 9. Sequences and time and space and Father versus Son are confusing. I never saw Gwens obituary and even her own brother was not informed of the death in a timely fashion so he could go to the funeral. 10. For some reason I think she married into a Roach family in Ca involved in the entertainment field. They had 3 sons - 2 of which are deceased and when she died the remaining son took her to TX and then put her in a nursing home there. All of this just gives me more question and no answers. P.S. The item Gray closed his book with came from a clipping in Duane's hidden wallet. Geoffrey latched onto one thing and latched onto the other because it was in reference to Roach Studios in New York. Please note I have always been hesitant to discuss the above, because of somethings Duane said and what was in the clipping. I got the impression to do so might be dangerous as there seemed to be connections with the East Coast and West Coast underworld. Why I steer away from this - because it frightens me! Do you know that my sister for many yrs headed up a writers group which has LARGE symposiums. The man's reputation is not good. BUT, I will emphasize those were HIS words and NOT my words. He has repeated his story many time over to me over the phone.
