" You'll put your eye out kid!"

I'll do you one better: My favorite restaurant to have a cell-phone-busting electromagnetic pulse waiter with a wood mallet to knock any phones out if they are ever used. I fixed it for you.
-
For people to stop bringing their cell phones into restaurants!

On paper it looks good. Less money spent, more money coming in. But try to explain that logic to the family of someone who is killed by the "harmless" drunk driver who had been observed operating a vehicle while intoxicated many times before but the cops can't do anything because he hasn't hurt anyone yet. I'd rather see the sorry S.O.B. taken off the streets before he has a chance to hurt someone.

http://www.esurance.com/home/tv.asp You mean this chick? Erin? Yeah, she's hot...for a 'toon. Ever see the movir "Cool World"? Kim Basinger is in that flick and, 'toon chick or not, she is HOT!

How can you have a thread on best videos and not include this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leMzjdb2WVw Aha! I hadn't seen that one in probably 20 years! Thanks!

I saw this road sign a few years back... "Do not attempt to pass when oncoming traffic is present" Imagine the genius that firgured that one out! Anybody else have a good one to share?

I can't believe what I just read. How do you expect the police to know who is and isn't driving at a diminished capacity? Wait until they kill someone? It is almost always the little things, i.e crossing the centerline, forgetting a turn signal, driving without headlights at night in a well-lit area, etc. that bring notice to a suspect. Just because someone isn't at .08 doesn't mean they are fit to drive. Different people react differently to alcohol. Another point...while these officers are checking a suspect for intoxication they are almost always near passing traffic, thereby putting themselves at risk of being hit by yet another vehicle. People around here bitch about cops parking where they can watch people leave the bars. I say GREAT! Catch 'em before they kill someone! I have no problem with people drinking, or even getting totally wasted. Hell, I get shit-faced myself from time to time. But along with the right to drink comes the responsibility to society to NOT place others at risk. It is the duty of the police to do what they can to stop the irresponsible ones before they hurt someone else. I'm sorry to see that you feel the police are wasting their time but maybe if you, like I, had lost someone very close to you to one of these "low risk drivers" then maybe you would see things differently.

That kinda made sense to me, so I went down to the store and bought a can of Red Bull. Look who popped out when I opened it! Somehow I don't think we'll be getting much driving done. At least, not on the highway.

I like the look on people's faces when I tell 'em that Nine Inch Nails were the first to record and Cash did a cover. I like both versions, but I think Cash has the edge. His aging face and voice lent an air of "been there, done that" to the song. Trent Renor wrote a great song, Johnny Cash made a great video of it.

Former NASCAR driver Dick Trickle. Hell of a driver, talent more than made up for the name.

Just saw on the news... Laci and Scott Peterson's home was just sold. The owner had run into finacial difficulties and had to sell. He said he had no problem staying there, but his dog didn't like going into the master bedroom where authorities feel the murder took place.

A. And B. And C.... I assume we are talking female boobies here, right? Good. Beer cup...it's hard to beat a pint!

I have no idea how long that rope at the PAI drop has been rigged. It was like climbing and rappelling on a muddy noodle. Our BD rope is PMI Classic. We knew from the first time we used it that it was off a good spool, not too fast, not too slow, just the right speed and consistant the full length. Needless to say, when you get a rope like that it gets a lot of TLC.

Armadillo's are the only creatures besides humans that contract leprosy, and littermates are genetically identical. That makes them valuable for research on a cure for leprosy. They also have really nasty claws!
-
They make great substitutes in smores in case you run out of marshmellows.

The only rope that was left rigged was at the pain-in-the-ass drop, and it was getting pretty sketchy. Carrying 600' of rope would suck. Only trouble was, ours was our Bridge Day rope and it is 900' so it really sucked! We took turns so it wasn't too bad on the way in. After 2 Bridge Days, 2 trips to Ellisons, and a trip to Whitesides Mt. that rope is getting a real nice rappel to it...nice and smoooooth!

Pettijohns is a nice horizontal cave, I've been there a couple times myself. Lots of mud and goo to play in.

Yes, it is a fun cave!

Glad you had a good time! I've spent many days exploring the underground world in OH, NY, PA, WV, AL,GA, KY, TN, etc. Now that you have had a taste of spelunking, give caving a try!. What's the diff, you ask? Simple....cavers rescue spelunkers! Just as with skydiving, in caving there is a safe way and a not-so-safe way. For more info check out www.caves.org for a listing of caving clubs in your area. All love to introduce people to the sport and most have loaner gear that costs you nothing to use except a few batteries. I've attached a photo of one of my favorite trips. That ledge by my feet drops of almost 600 feet straight down.
