Hi! There is a loose London Skydivers association thing which tends to meet on Charing Cross road about once a month for some 'light' drinking. the more the merrier. There is a mailing group but I have no idea how you would go about getting on it. Caz, who posts here as 'Caz' (!) will know though since she set it up. Failing that, give me a call (PM sent with number)

I guess I have been mostly lucky - Eloy 03, Espace 04 and the Algarve Xmas boogie 04 were all awesome! Especially Espace but I guess it is just such a different scene from the Algarve Boogie that you can't really compare. Both excellent anyway The Czech boogie 04 on the other hand... I will only say that I feel sorry for the people who had it as their first boogie and think that that is how it is supposed to be... and no - I won't be going next year! Boogies rock. -
Hmmm - not a lot of votes yet and I don't really think the only other person who voted than me is that wise... but it is their legs. As long as they don't fly into anyone else and kill them too that is.. fly safe people.

Hmmm, lets see: : 10(sort of): 0 owed but lots drunk - well I wasn't expecting any 10 cos I had my weekend from Thursday! Lots of beer due to people starting AFF, catching up with old buddies etc. Good weekend... packing now ready for Espace and Czech boogies back to back in August.

You jest my friend, but if we are doing H&P for fun then I do like to come out of the door in a sit with my back to the relative wind and backloop before turning 180 so that I don't open towards the last jumper. If it is more serious then I prefer poised as you can see the plane and flick the next guy the bird. By the time you have done that you are far enough away from the plane to safely toss out the PC. It is funny how fast six months can slip by... even in a dump like Iraq. Especially when you have DZ.com to log on to every day and catch a (remembered) breath of the real world from 13000ft. Well I am leaving Baghdad later today (and then probably spend the next three days trying to hitch a flight back to the UK! ) so I'd just like to say thanks y'all for the fun, frolics and stories. I hope to meet more of you in person in Eloy at New Year. Obviously though, a big extra special thanks to the man with the red hot fork who made all this cyber tomfoolery possible... Sounds like someone who needs some help rather than anything else. I would go with the "sorry, this dive is planned out, but we'll go up later" approach and then do something really simple later to help them progress. I hate to dampen people's enthusiasm even when they are crap... It has to be better to help bring them along right?
