You know that telling people what they think and why is insulting and a PA in my estimation. (But that tactic has been used by the left for decades to stiffel debate if possible) But you are a moderator so you can make that distinction as you wish. And, so you know you are wrong about FOX. They follow basicly the same course as the rest of the news biggies. They do however, every once in a while offer the other side of the story. I am sure that is why you don't like them. I think that is because that GW alarmists can not survive an open debate. Why, because as more info, data gathering processed and why tweaked compurter modle forcasts comes to light, the argument for man made GWing gets weaker and weaker. 2 years ago I was inclined to beleive man was a major cause of GW. But much like once being a supporter of more gun control, once I learned more I changed my views. Once I gained understanding and information and began to understand why people push that crap, I came down on the other side. I will look at the links you posted. We're getting off topic here, but this goes to the heart of why guys like Rush are enormously successful and guys like Franken are flops. Rush is an entertainer, period. He knows and embraces this. He says things that are so ridiculous, there is no way he could ever believe it, but still people listen. They listen even if they disagree with him, because he is a good entertainer. He did a bit with a phony Bill Clinton leaving him a voice mail that was one of the funniest 5 minutes of radio ever. Franken, on the other hand actually believes most of what he says. Im done debating this topic, but most Americans regardless of party favor legal guns. Most Americans regardless of party have no idea what a sunspot is. That people think what he says has even a sliver of credibility is laughable. He says what sells, comes up with some catchy phrases and hits the cash register. Youve never heard of Bill OReilly? You should youtube him. He has some interesting stuff to say. I often disagree with him but I enjoy watching his show. Yep, seemed pretty stupid to me. If they wanted to cover how the wealthy Japanese businessman had been on a safari and that's how the rifle got into the Middle Eastern man's hands, that would have been fine. If they wanted to show the worried husband calling home to check on the kids in the care of the Mexican nanny, that would have been fine. But spending a half-hour on the Japanese man's teenage daughter's attempts to get laid, were irrelevant. And spending a half-hour on the Mexican woman's trip back to Mexico to attend a wedding, were irrelevant. I agree completely. Often many people who are not willing to "buy in" to the global warming theory, that is widely recognized to be true by a vast majority of scientists, will cite the hysteria to be caused not by scientific fact but by politicians. All I can recognize is that this movement aims to abolish global warming, this in turn will reduce greenhouse gas emissions which will hopefully eliminate the climate change. Some side effects of the movement may be more fuel efficient automobiles and power plants as well as it will hopefully decrease our dependence on foriegn oil. I pose this question to the doubters and non-doubters alike. What is there to be gained politically from this Global Warming movement? (This is a legitimate question. Unlike some of my previous posts this question is by not intended to stir anyone up.
