Morning Ferdi! JRaf for the summer .... I wish! Although I'd be quite happy to spend the summer in CT, jhb, witbank, anywhere that has a plane! Mind you, our engine is back, so 99.9% sure I'm gonna skydive this weekend!!!!

Goood morning everyone! Hope all are well. I threw a temper tantrum this morning new bloody hair cut. I now remember why I kept it long. I attempted to use a hair dryer for the first time in about 5 yrs. I'm not very good at it! After pfaffing for about 10 minutes, my patience ran out, so I just grabbed a dollop of mousse (also a first - beer?) and went for the messy look. I think I like! And I am quite sure that you are all going to have a really good day now that you know that useless bit of information Kerry

I don't have any of those... I could get our agency to touch it up, make me beautiful, resize it etc, but that's way too much like hard work. Easier to ask someone here to make it smaller. Besides I'm beautiful enough Kerry

Well, Erno, truth be told, I don't know how to resize a pic to fit the icon thingy, so I'll have to post at least one, but I'll have to wait until you, AggieDave and Nacmac are all online, to see who can resize it the fastest for me Kerry

Indian Mynahs? BAH! Noisy buggers. Durban is infested with them. One of our dismal sources of public transport is a bus (sort of between a big bus and a minibus/taxi), that hurtles around Durban. It's called the Mynah - probably because they are equally annoying Kerry

My excitement? I look faaabulous daahling! Our beauty ed is doing a makeover feature, concentrating on how to dress for your body shape. She somehow talked me into being a guinea pig. (Our mag is targeted at the weight loss market). Although I am nowhere near being overweight, I do have narrow shoulders and um, let's say, curvy (read childbearing) hips. Fortunately not very pronounced or obvious until you put me in the WRONG clothes. (the before pic is horrendous!). Anyway, I got a full makeover, clothes makeup hair etc ..... The clothes didn't change much, because the stylist put me in what I would normally wear anyway (I know how to dress for my shape), but the hair was a complete transformation. To the point where my boss didn't recognise me at first Kerry

Getting transformed I now look nothing like my pic < ---------- My waist length brunette hair is all gone. It is now shortish, funky, and the colour is sherry, cappucino and ash blonde streaks - it looks really cool!!!!!! I'll post pics in a couple days ... Kerry
