What a way to end with a bang. Today was our brigade Iron Soldier Competition. Start with a standard Army PT Test ...except BDU Pants and brown T-Shirt. Up hill 2-mile run, with a buddy. Change into Boots, BDU top and soft cap. 6-mile Ruck march, again with buddy. My ruck was only 45 pounds though. Than run through a mile long obstacle course, still with your buddy. My buddy was dying at the end of it. But I felt great knowing that it was my last day doing PT. Next stop Indy. ADAPT or DIE

Thank goodness I took a lot of the impant on the bone around my eye. It is one of the strongest bones in the body. I had stiches less than an 1/8th of an inch from my eye.

Oh yeah, see I hit face first on pavement and opened a nesty cut around my eye. As you may know the head bleeds a lot and soon I had so much blood that my T-shirt was soaked red. A group of boy scouts happend by (No lie) and the leader put my arm in a sling and called an ambulance, before long the story had grown that I was hit by a car and they took off, there were cops, a fire truck, and ambulance. It was a pretty cool scene, it took me 10 years to go back to that hill.

WARNING THIS IS NOT WORK SAFE! I just got dogged out big time by my 1st Sergeant for this one. I forwarded to a freind an he opened it when this asshole was around who in turn sent it to my 1st Sergeant saying I wrote it about OUR company. It took me 20 minutes to explain that it wasn't ment to talk back about our company. Even though it IS very true. WARNING NOT WORK SAFE!

2 more weeks and I'm done. I just got back form getting my orders. I'm so happy and scared at the same time.

I hate to be a jerk but a little ctitique, water moving that fast with that much whitecapping will not have that much of a reflection, if even any reflection at all. Just a photoshop technique critique.

I know I'm only 24, but every single one of those things was what it was like when I was younger. Now everyone gets a freaking trophy. The militaries Little League program (Up to age 12) for dependents does not keep score of the games. This is crap. I lost a lot growing up. We went 0-8 in football. I got the crap beat out of me sometimes in wrestling. I had a paper route at 5 a.m. every morning that I did entirely by myself when I was 11. I didn't play nintendo on my ass all day. I played sports outside. I broke my collar bone taking a dare to ride my bike down a steep hill. I could side and roof a house by the age of 15. I joined the army And by god I jump out of airplanes. Kids these days are gonna turn out to be a bunch fru fru coffee drinking, vegitarian, bubleboy wanna be's, who go to the doctor everytime they get a cold. God help this country in 20 years. It's been a rough couple of days. I'm just venting. ADAPT OR DIE

I just got word from my commander, that congratulations, we told you you had to stay 'till November, nope were gonna let you go now. You have until next Thursday to pack up and get the heck out. Now this is what I origanally requested, but when it was first denied I moved my time table back. AAAAHHHH If you didn't see my other two post today read them and you will see why this is very frustrating. ADAPT OR DIE

Can't do that, If she had more than a couple of thousand too her name she would start graduate courses to keep her student visa, but its 22 grand a semester.

I agree, I was talking to some of our friends after she left, and they could tell that I was a little upset that she would puuting in the situation. But they assured me they wouldn't fault me if I say no.
