  1. Well, this story has officialy made yahoo. www.yahoo.com
  2. Part is from a Taco Bell comercial. The other part is for a certain someone on dz.com. I wonder who.
  3. I dunno where you jump at but at my DZ that packers also buy beer. No one is exempt from buying beer. You never did answer me about what's so wrong with it so long as the person is happy and living the life they want to live? By the way, how's the weather up there on your golden pedastool? I personally am a packer AND have a full time job. I don't live in a fancy house or have a brand new car. In fact, I can barely pay my bills. But I'm happy and enjoy doing what I do. Does that make me pathetic since I don't have all the things that a wonderfully magnificent perfect person like yourself have? Edited to add: I went to college and got a Bachelor's in Management. It was the biggest mistake of my life. I wish I would've taken the time to figure out what I really wanted to do in life instead of spending all that money on something I ended up hating. But, instead I listened to everyone telling me that you have to go to college in order to have a good life. Now I know what I wanna do with my life. Only problem is I want to go back to school now. Had I waited I could have just gone to school once. But now I'll need to go back and have twice as many student loans as I have now.
  4. You pretty much nailed it on the head. Us American's will take any excuse to have a vacation.
  5. Is it really that pathetic if they're perfectly happy and living the life they want to live?
  6. What really sucks is everytime I stand up and sit down the hole gets bigger.
  7. When I'm on the ambulance I do bring spare clothes with me. But I'm in dispatch today so I didn't see the need.
  8. So with it being a Holiday the schedule is a litte odd today. I had to come in at 530am to take a patient to dialysis before starting my shift in dispatch at 7am. Due to only having to do a single trip in the wheel chair van I had permission to just wear blue jeans. Well, while making the big step up onto the lift I hear a very loud "rrrriiiiiippppp". No, my pants did not split up the ass, they split right along the zipper in the front. So now I'm stuck spending the rest of the day at work with a giant hole in my crotch. I'm wearing my sweatshirt around my waiste backwards. I'm just waiting for my boss to come in and ask me what happened.
  9. Mike, I dunno what to say other than I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and the families of the others involved in the crash.
  10. The person I'm thinking of cutaway and actually landed with someone else's main (and survived). Think about how that might be possible. Was a Mr. Bill somehow involved?
  11. I can't complain about baseball too much. Hell, just 2 days ago I got paid to go to a MLB game for the 2nd time this summer. Granted it was a Pirates game so I would not have gone otherwise but still. Wanna talk about an easy work day.
  12. this will end up in SC but I still thought it was post worthy. http://www.yahoo.com/s/944096 Something just ain't right about that "rule". It deffinately makes me worry.
  13. Like some on here have said, just because it's old doesn't mean it's not safe. There are guys at my dropzone who have been jumping for 30+ years. The still use gear that's 20+ years old. As long as the gear is well taken care of it's still very safe to use. Just make sure you have it inspected by a rigger and you'll be fine.
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_with_Michael_Jackson "The subject of his ever-changing appearance is brought up, but an agitated Jackson denies getting plastic surgery on his face, claiming that the media is ignorant of what they don't understand."
