Happy Birthday Billy

So my iPod just started acting up. It shows that it's playing the music but nothing comes out of the headphones. I've tried several different pairs so I know it's not an issue with the headphones. Also, when it's hooked up to the FM transmitter in my car it doesn't put out any sound. However, when I hook it up to my computer it'll play through there just fine. Any suggestions or am I screwed?

It's this thing we have up north that keeps our lakes, rivers and pools filled. It also has a way of cooling things down if it gets too hot and/or humid.

Sorry to hear that. She looks like a cutie. I went through the same thing with my one dog about 8 years ago. She was really bad off. Bad back, no teeth, cataracs (pretty much blind), arthritis and we're pretty sure she had a couple seizures at some point in time. It was really sad because we put her and my other dog in the kennel when we went on vacation for christmas. The day after christmas the vet called and told us she had passed on christmas day but didn't want to ruin our holiday so he waited a day to tell us. Loosing a close pet is never easy. My thoughts are with you.

Had this idea the other day while packing some tandems... Things you never wanna hear your packer say... 1. Uh-oh, oops (anything of the sort) 2. That doesn't look right (but continues to pack) 3. I'm gonna try a new technique. 4. What the hell is that? 5. This should work, we'll see. 6. Where did that pull-up cord go? (please feel free to add things you've heard your packer say)

Just out of curiosity was it a low tech (meaning no computer stuff what-so-ever) alti or high tech (such as a neptune or alti-track) alti?

Every skydiving dream I have ends the same. Low pull at about 100 or 200 feet, canopy snivles and finally opens about 2 or 3 feet off the ground and I land perfectly fine. Sometimes the canopy never even really opens and I still land perfectly fine. I think it's pretty interesting that this dreams sounds VERY similar to ones other people are having. I seem to have more of these dreams during the winter non-jumping months. During the summer when I'm actually jumping I hardly ever have these dreams.

She's going to go through about 8 months of reconstructive surgeries. I heard she was joking about it saying that at least she'll have a nice rack when she's 80. That she'll have the nicest boobs in the entire nursing home.

Also great for practical jokes.

Don't worry...i'm getting lots of training from an excellent mentor. We have a sweet set-up at my dz for us first timers to practice exits on. Plus, I plan on jumping the canopy I'm going to be using at bridge day several times before hand. Plus, I already plan on landing in the water. I'm not just going to jump of the bridge. I do have a few brain cells.
