No it isn't. It's rather easy. No one said it was fun. And you know, you could have always told them "No" when they asked you to work the next 8. If your boss needs it covered that bad then he can sit his ass in thr chair. Quit being a doormat. Some may call it being a doormat I call it getting overtime cause I'm flat broke. And yes...I can sleep during night shift provided nothing is going on and I wake up if the phone rings or the radio goes off.

So...I was already scheduled to work a 16 hour shift today. No big deal I do them all the time. But, the guy who was supposed to relieve me tonight has pink eye. There was only 1 other person who could have possibly covered his shift tonight but they weren't available. So I just found out that tonight, I will be the first person to work a 24 hour shift in dispatch since this place opened in 1996. Ain't I special. I personally don't see what the big deal is. EMT's and Medic's work 24's all the time. I don't know if they're so against it just because I'm all alone in here and don't get any official breaks (I can't even leave the little room I'm in). I actually see this as an oportunity to show them what I'm capable of.

It really pisses me off when someone is willing to throw away a job like that while I sit here unsuccessfully looking for a new and/or 2nd job.

So after watching this video last night I wondered if my cats liked it and I just never knew. I know that they enjoy rough petting. Well...I went home and spanked them...let's just say I got the best nights sleep in a while because they wouldn't come near me the rest of the night. (I did feel bad that they didn't like it so they got lots of treats this morning to make up for it.)

I can understand starting to shop now....I just can't stand decorations and music before Thanksgiving. Once Thanksgiving is over it's fair game.

I personally think there shouldn't be anything Christmas until after Thanksgiving. But that's just me.

So I was looking up when something will be on TV tomorrow night. And I just happened to notice that How the Grinch Stole Christmas will be on. Didn't check to see if it's the cartoon or the one with Jim Carey but I couldn't believe they're already putting on Christmas progrmas. Who else thinks this is crazy.

You say you can tell by the IP address. What about someone like myself who logs on not only from home but several different computers at work. Couldn't I just set up an account on of the computers at work and you'd have no idea it was me?

I've used it quite a bit and have had no problems. In fact they helped me get my $200+ back after I received the cell phone I bought on eBay and learned that due to certain circumstances I couldn't use it. If it weren't for PayPal I probably wouldn't have gotten my money back because the person I bought it from simply stopped answering my emails.

I'm 24...probably one of the only people on here closest to your age. You should listen to mamajumps. She knows what she's saying. Sometimes at 24 I even feel like a youngin on here and a bit out of place. You are too young to be in the bonfire.
