right on bud, the hours I listed are minimum. if you are offshore you will get a minimum of 12hrs of pay everyday, whether you do any work or not just for being there... that's 8reg and 4OT everyday, with 12OT saturday and 12OT on sunday...1week=40reg 44OT MINIMUM by law certainly you can work more it's not out of the ordinary to do 16hr and 18hr shifts out there. what I was getting at is offshore companies will hire and train you themselves, without gouging your check for you. seems like the company you are referring to is simply getting you your basic certs to go offshore like marine survival training, helicopter underwater egress and safety, first aid, rigging, T.W.I.C. card, safe gulf...etc. then just letting you go to whatever company they chose or is ringing their phones off the hook...you might end up doing something you will not like chose for yourself what it is that you are interested in doing, and hire on with an offshore company that does it...they will put you through the same required training at no cost to you..and your check is yours. pm me if you want, let me know what you know how to do, I can get you on a boat, rig, barge whatever bro... or at least point you in the right direction if you want a friend feed any animal Perry Farrell
