I have lots of time flying SAR in that part of the country (out of NAS Fallon, NV)and it is no surprise to me that it has taken so long to find the aircraft. As for Mr. Fosset, he may never be located. There are lots of animals up there that would certainly carry away any remains. Perhaps this is how his belongings wound up where they did. It is interresting just how far away the wreckage is from the primary search area, which was the vicinity of MT. Grant in NV. ~150 miles away (+/- a few) At lease there is some measure of closure for the family knowing that he likely did not suffer. "Always do right. lol... I spent the day yesterday making room for the car in there. It's clean now . I'll be in VA in Nov I believe, if over the weekend, i'll bring my rig and give you a shout. Heck, come on down to Z-hills with the family. It's always sunny in Florida you know. "Always do right. Here is a picture of why I had no jumps this weekend. My first new one. It's a 2009 HD Low Rider. Absolutely the best ride I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Seriously? Put down the game controller, give up skydiving (for now), get a job and go get an education and some life experience. You'll be happier and have more money (eventually) to do all you want. The sky will still be there. p.s. right now, go thank your parents for all they have done for you. "Always do right. Close one. After almost losing my ring finger to a rotor blade on a UH-1N (I'll let you wonder how that's possible) I don't wear my ring anywhere around machines unless I wear gloves. I may have to rethink that. I lost (dropped) my ring at my old DZ before I started wearing gloves. Talk about panic as I didn't realize it until I was 1/2 way home. I still owe beer to the finder for that one. Be careful out there folks. "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest" ~Samuel Clemens MB#4300 Dudeist Skydiver #68

NOW you tell me. I had to drain off at least at total of 10" of water from my pool. So much for the drought in central Florida. Funny thing, my neighbors sprinklers were on yesterday. Dude! you need a new rain sensor. "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest" ~Samuel Clemens MB#4300 Dudeist Skydiver #68

Oh Crap! I messed up and unplugged my USB connection from my external hard drive to my laptop at work without doing the "remove device" routine. I immediately got a message saying data has been lost. I tried to look at the drive again and instead of it being listed as "my book" it is simply "F" and it appears to have nothing in it. The device properties show that there is data on the drive though. Additionaly, I use this drive to store my outlook mail as I frequently get mail box full notices at work. I think I may have interrupted the writing of the file allocation table and i'm desperate to recover what's there. Does anyone know how I may recover my data, specifically my outlook email? I'm really screwed if I lose this stuff. I obviously know just enough about computers to be dangerous. HELP!!!!! "Always do right. What I read was that only the footprints leading to the "Birdsnest" during the televised event were filmed in advance. This was aparently done for safety reasons, as aircraft overhead during the actual event would have been in danger. I'm sure there was some sort of exclusion zone over the stadium itself but those "feet" started from a pretty far distance out. Makes sense to me. "Always do right. Never done that myself (never had to ) and only know one person who ever did (and "paid" for it with a gift that keeps on giving). I can imagine it is not as common as it usd to be in the old days when P.I. was a routine stop. "Always do right. Now that was an impressive show. I was absolutely amazed by sheer numbers of people in sync during some of the performances. Good job China. GO USA!!!!!!!!!! "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest" ~Samuel Clemens MB#4300 Dudeist Skydiver #68

SO OTHERS MAY LIVE! I would suggest not talking about jumping around the squadron too much. Although legal, the safety folks will label you a risk and you'll have to deal with the ORM natzis. Now that the new G3 has been out for a little while, is it worth the money for the phone and the plan? I'm considering jumping on the band wagon. "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest" ~Samuel Clemens MB#4300 Dudeist Skydiver #68

Thanks MAMAJUMPS. I can see where they are in need down there in Polk County. That would be a bit of a drive though. I guess I should have specified Orange/Seminole Counties. With what teachers get paid and gas prices these days, the two would just about offset each other. "Always do right.
