LOL--True, but maybe it would help if we knew what kind of business we're talking about. TPM Sister #102

Yeah, right--"the one in the back with the yellow shirt." Just look for the guy in the back who is several feet taller than everybody else! (I would SO love to walk around with you just for an excuse to wear outrageously high heels . . . .) Anyway, VERY COOL performance! I'm impressed. You haven't even been with them that long. Awww, Squeak, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope it's a great day!

I am just terribly thankful that someone else remembers Benji, too! On another note, Grease was the first rated-PG movie that I ever got to see and I thought I was very grown up to get to go. I distinctly remember, however, that I had no idea what they meant when they were talking about "jugs." TPM Sister #102

I liked the Benji movies. TPM Sister #102

What great news! No more grazing for him, though. Poor little guy. I'm glad he's going to come home today and hope he perks right back up!
-
Nice! I'm so glad he's going the right direction and getting better, just the way he's supposed to!

Oh, brother. You think the shocker thing is all cool but a little spider sends you running like a girl. What are we gonna DO about you???! TPM Sister #102

Dude, just how many of my tunnel minutes did you want me to share with you, again? TPM Sister #102

Fred sounds cool, but if you've decided that you no longer wish to live together, maybe you could just relocate him instead of killing him. Of course, that would require you to get up close. . . . Cup with a paper lid works for me! TPM Sister #102

I can relate to it, so we'll just all be happy and unstable together! TPM Sister #102 -
IF There Was a 'Cure' For Skydiving, Would You Take It?
Jewels replied to ACMESkydiver's topic in The Bonfire
It's interesting, because I don't think that most of my skydiving friends are people I would classify as adrenaline seekers. Some are, of course, but most of them are not. Sounds like several others on here would fall into that category, too. So, if it's not an adrenaline issue, does that just mean it's a mental imbalance? TPM Sister #102 -
There are many worse bonfire infractions around here--and it was actually a discussion related to the topic at hand, so I'm not too worried about it. TPM Sister #102

Good for her! I'm glad. I shot her an email yesterday but haven't caught up with her yet. TPM Sister #102

Hiya, Squeak!

I have nothing but good things to say about Sartre. She has been a really good friend to me. TPM Sister #102

ARRGGHHH! I'm suffering Great Work Burnout at the moment and I'm terribly envious. Do you have light tropical breezes, too? TPM Sister #102

Um, yeah . . . no. So far it's not helping. Looks delicious! (Which lovely destination is it this time?) TPM Sister #102

Okay, I can do without the horror-film version, but I love penguin-punting if it's all about internal injuries as opposed to the gore! TPM Sister #102

Sorry; I'm confused. Was this just a PSA, or did I miss another informative thread? Ah, never mind. The other thread was waaay down on my screen but I see it now. TPM Sister #102

Go for it! You'll be great.

I don't know. Does your firm do a lot of work in Florida? You're close enough that if you realistically see a practical use for it, your reasoning might fly with the partners in your firm without a second thought. On the other hand, if your firm doesn't do work down there, yeah, they might wonder if you have something in the back of your mind about going home again. That's not to say it might not serve you well to do it anyway. Lots of attorneys are admitted in more than one state. You might also look into the reciprocity requirements. TPM Sister #102

As far as I know, it's like any other medication--it has different effects on different people. Benadryl has always made me sleepy, but I've also taken medications with warnings about making you drowsy that have had me awake all night. Just depends on the person and their own system, I suppose.
