  3. That face is as irresistible as ever. I would have to quit my job to stay home and give tummy rubs. TPM Sister #102

Okay, granted, it has only been a few hours, but let us know how it goes! I hope you had a great interview. Sounds very competitive! TPM Sister #102
  6. Ooo--you also had the very trendy southwestern decor going on, by the looks of that wallpaper.

HEY! GO ROCKIES! And, you know, Denver isn't under snow year-round. The lion's share of the season is in the summer, and even when we get snow it's not like it comes and stays until the spring thaw! TPM Sister #102

    Bad Dog

Send skycat a PM--she'll be a great resource! I have to admit that I'm pretty averse to the idea of a shock collar, but I've also seen dogs that require more than others do when it comes to training. I'd never use it on my chihuahua, for example, but I've known a couple of German shepherds in police dog training and that was a different story! TPM Sister #102
  9. Great job! Looks like you guys had fun doing it! TPM Sister #102
  10. WOW. My dad never would've made it through the waivers but it would've meant the world to me if he had done something like that. You are the MAN! Granted, you also desperately need to floss and brush your teeth a few hundred times, but that's true love right there.
  11. That decision took strength and courage. I'm so sorry that you had to say goodbye, but it sounds like a compassionate and timely choice. I know your heart must ache and I'll be thinking about you! TPM Sister #102

  23. Kathleen, I'm so sorry to hear this. Putting a time frame on a lifetime is a very difficult thing to do and even when you know it could be longer than projected, it's a tough walk. Being a part of someone's progress towards death is still a tremendous privilege. The time you spend with him won't be "normal" and nothing will ever be quite the same, but it will be precious. My advice is to say what you would want to have said to him, and then just to enjoy what you can together. I don't think you have to make any grand gestures. Just spending time together and doing activities that he's up for will be special. (And it's okay to cry.
  24. Psipike02 is a good guy and has quite a bit of knowledge in this area, all debates and disagreements aside. Before anyone jumps on him for his silence here, I just wanted to let you know that he got called away and isn't by a computer (or, at least, wasn't as of about an hour ago). TPM Sister #102
