  1. LOL--I think that's a safe assumption about what Carl wants! He'll probably become instant ball python educator, anyway, and the women will have no choice but to foster a warm understanding of them. I'm okay if they are not in the same room with me or otherwise loose in the house. I can handle spiders, including my friend's pet tarantula. Rodents are no big deal and some are just downright precious. But snakes are still stretching me just a little too far.
  2. ROFL--who said only half??? TPM Sister #102
  3. How DID I know who posted this thread before I even looked at the name??? Ball pythons may make excellent pets but keep in mind that it can have a chilling effect on women. (Okay, not COOL women, but there are still some of us girly types who give off high-pitched screeches when presented with snakes of any sort.) I would suggest keeping your new pet somewhere other than your bedroom. Edited to add: Wait, that came out wrong. *I* don't care where you keep him. I'm just thinking of those unsuspecting cuties you might be bringing home. What you and your snake do is up to you; I'm OUT of it! TPM Sister #102

    Snake vs Bunny

I love it when the bunnies win!
  5. I didn't catch your title but I did get the poppy. Our veterans have my gratitude--not just Americans, but those who have stood with us. TPM Sister #102
  6. Yeah, and periodically, Carl will say something about thinking he's fat. Um, nope, don't see it!! TPM Sister #102
  7. I still think we need all the juicy details (but she was one stunningly beautiful bride!). Do tell, skymama.
  8. I guess it's okay. I'm still a lawyer. TPM Sister #102
  9. Here I was wondering how I'd fit in, and then you got to that bit about no one who behaves badly and doesn't hold to moral values. Great, just great. Now I have no career in the mafia whatsoever. TPM Sister #102
  10. He's a sweetheart! I'll bet you don't even know where that first year went, and the next 17 will only gain momentum. TPM Sister #102

  14. WHAT? THAT Two timing little - oh - wait . . . Yeah - I did - and encourage it.
  15. Does Turtle know you're seeing someone else? TPM Sister #102
  16. Don't ALL dropzones offer that? (Technically, I mean.) hahaha! Brilliant!

  18. People watching is fun! There's a lot to watch out there, too. (I just think drooling is gauche.) TPM Sister #102
  19. Reality is that men are visual and they are going to take notice of attractive women when they see them. I have no problem with this. It's how they react to it that matters to me, and I have to say I'm in the "rude and disrespectful" camp when the response is outright gawking. If you're with your SO, I think it is discourteous to them--and rude to the person you're gawking at (female OR male). I'm talking about real gawking and have no issues with it if you're close to each other and it's just a comment or a discussion about someone you happen to see. Observing that someone else is attractive isn't necessarily a big deal. Once it crosses the line into gawking, though, it starts belittling the SO and implies that there's something better out there to be had. I don't think that's insecurity at all; I think it's a sign that the gawker is inconsiderate. I've heard it said time and again that women seek love and men seek respect (generally speaking, of course). A woman gawking at other men isn't respectful of her SO and a man gawking at other women isn't loving to his SO. It can't strengthen the relationship to do that. TPM Sister #102
  20. It's Turtle's thread to answer, but since you're the manager, I assume it will be you! (Oh, and Shell--that pic is just terribly precious!!!) TPM Sister #102
  21. As jealous as I can be. Shouldn't you be sharing with me and the manager? Yeah, see, this is where I'm not so good with compliance. But if the two of you can be here and geared up by 6:00, I'll share . . . just this once. TPM Sister #102
  22. I am liking this - way too much. Jewels, you could be in charge of composing the contracts and non compete clauses. SCORE! There will be very harsh penalties for default. Maybe Sunny would be interested in enforcement. I think I'm also supposed to be asking you something. . . . So, how do you feel about the fact that I just snatched some 1/2 price tunnel time for tonight? (I'll tell you how *I* feel: ZING! HAPPY!!!) Okay, to be fair, that really belongs in the happy stuff thread in the Women's Forum. TPM Sister #102
  23. ROFL That would be waaay too appropriate! TPM Sister #102
  24. [replyAnd I don't know about that other stuff. I don't adapt well to being managed. But I am fun manager... really fun.... Hmmmm . . . I think I need examples. TPM Sister #102
