  1. Also, read this document, specifically part D(1)a on the proration of fuel.
  2. "Supply Cost/ PGA, GCR, ECA, ICA: This may appear on your bill if there was an adjustment or rate change due to additional costs for purchasing energy from suppliers. You may see it on your bill as PGA, GCR, ECA, or ICA, depending on which state you live in." COG just means "Cost of Gas"
  3. Get it here (requires Windows Media Player) BTW, can any of you think of a decent soundtrack for a 29 second long movie? I'm stuck for ideas so I just left the wind noise in.
  4. It's not a big deal. They give you the composite/s-video cable with the camera, so as long as you don't lose it everything should be cool. Might be a bit of a hassle if you use a communal dubbing station like I've seen at a few dropzones. I've attached a picture of the cable. The end on the left goes in the camera, the ends are on the right are standard composite video and s-video.
  5. Gehen Sie nach Muenchen! If you get bored in Munich you can do a day trip into Austria and check out Salzburg, or head to Dachau for a history lesson (it's a bit of a downer, but I thought it was too important to pass up). Edit: Whoops, wrong concentration camp.
  6. Wireless Internet. The equipment and installation, at least.
  7. Mine is Chuck the Mac zealot from the comic Penny Arcade. I'm thinking about maybe changing to the Fruit Fucker.
  8. Well, my equipment costs were way different. $500 for a main, $400 for a reserve, and $800 for my container. Then again, I'll probably use the reserve and container for 4 years, tops, and I'm on my second main already. But I broke even between selling my first main and buying this one, and I'll make some cash back selling the rig. This is getting complicated... Also, I found some other not-insignificant expenses: - RW suit: Over $250, lasts 500-ish jumps? - Freefly suit: $200, let's say another 500 jumps. - Prescription goggles: $120, still going after 200 jumps, but not much left.
  9. Incidents will not appear in the search box unless you are logged in. This is probably done for the same reason that a user who is not logged in can view thread titles in Incidents, but not open the threads.
  10. An original Cypres is not substantially different from a Cypres 2.
  11. I was in college. I got a part time job. I realized that drinking three bottles of pop and eating fast food once a day was costing me somewhere between $1500-$2100 a year (not to mention making me fat), so I cut way down on that. I started staying in or at least finding free/cheap stuff to do instead of going out all of the time. So basically I worked more and spent less.
  12. When I worked there, most things were a certain percentage above cost. Very reasonable. I quit after about four weeks because I kept getting screwed on hours. They'd schedule me for something like 10-6 on weekdays. I'd come up with an excuse, something lame, like "I'm in high school." Then they'd tell me to just come in for whatever part of my shift I could work and it would get fixed on the next schedule. Well, 8 hours a week just wasn't cutting it for me, even for an after school job. Edit to add: Like any chain, there are good stores to work for and bad stores to work for. From talking to Best Buy employees in other locations, it seems like I got one of the bad ones.
  13. Not only that, but sports that the audience can participate in. For a couple hundred bucks, anybody can buy a pair of rollerblades or a snowboard or a BMX bike and start participating right away. Now look at skydiving. The cost for an A license and gear is $4000-$5000, then the jumps needed to get good, plus the whole 18 years old thing. Even street luge or wakeboarding is much more accessable to the average X-Games viewer than skydiving.

    Team name?

  15. PHP.net has a good tutorial on installing the whole shebang on Linux. If you are on Windows, you should be able to find PHP-enabled Apache with MySQL support as binaries, then just install the MySQL binaries.
  16. I have a truly marvelous demonstration of this proposition which this post is too small to contain.
  17. Works fine for me with Firebird 0.7 (no annoying fade effect, either).
  18. Hoobastank, "Out Of Control" Ok, not really. My first jump was static line, so I need a song that's about 2 seconds long. I do think "Out Of Control" would be a fantastic soundtrack for a student carnage compilation video (hint hint )
  19. Go here, punch in your personal info (or make something up if you don't want big brother watching) then you can search on name. The only thing I found for the name in your profile was a 3rd Class medical from 1989. I did find several local riggers, though.
  20. Limited liability company. "Unlike a regular and limited partnership, in an LLC, all partners enjoy limited liability with regard to business's liabilities, and, in that regard, they are similar to shareholders in a corporation."
  21. It is interesting. Unfortunately, I'm the type of person who goes and looks up the sources that Brown's characters cite, and I was disappointed to find that many of them had been widely discredited (and was amazed at how many reviews say things like "exhaustively researched" or "The historical events and people explored in the book are real" with a straight face). The very short chapters drove me nuts, there was basically no character developement, and the ending was unsatisfying.
  22. I'd call it mediocre at best.
  23. Yeah, I got my copy a couple of months ago. It's an alright video. If you've seen the trailer, be aware that the pacing of the full video is comparitively much slower.
  24. And practically everything else not relating to the geography of Nevada. Edit: What mistake?
  25. I don't know what it's called, but a friend of mine bought it in Chinatown. No English on the bottle. Really good on pizza.
