Of the free stuff, WordPress is the best there is. Best docs, best plugins, easiest install, easiest customization (this is strongly related to "best docs"). Edit to add: Wordpress has one stylesheet, and only two pages to customize (index and comments).

No, it is skydivingmovies' fault. For the example that was posted, the video is sent with a MIME type of text/plain. Firefox is doing exactly what it was told to do, treating it as a plain text file, thus the garbage on the screen.
-
Short-term solution: right-click on the download button and do a "Save Link As". Long-term solution: The software that runs skydivingmovies.com needs to be fixed.

shit, who's your host? and do they offer php and mysql?

I didn't. I just hopped the fence at the first airport and taught myself. Piece of cake.

Anybody know if you can fly the warbird? I've made it to the airport in the second area (Los Santos?), I have my pilot's license, but most of the aircraft are locked, including the tailgate and the twin. Am I just not far enough in the game?

Sudden indoor pressure changes aren't unusual. It could be happening as a result of a door opening/closing, a forced-air heating system coming on, or wind or stack effect.

Sounds like you need John-John Mackey and hist Storm Tracker Accu-Cast.

The structure of adolescent romantic and sexual networks
indyz replied to Cornholio's topic in The Bonfire
And in 6 months time span, too. Notice that it says "romantic relationships." If you count fooling around with somebody as a romantic relationship, it seems possible, if unlikely. -
Cora, you forgot my favorite: "Tyme machine" When I worked for [Chicago-area theme park that I am contractually obligated not to name], I dealt with a lot Cheeseheads. I was really confused the first time one came up to me and said, "Excuse me, where can I find a time machine?" I thought I had a crazy person on my hands.

The newer Sony PC cameras seem to have a tighter field of view than the older ones. My PC105 with a Kenko .5 matches closely to a 24mm lens on my 300D.

It's all personal preference. I do mostly RW video (inside and out) and occasional freeflying. I prefer to have my camera aimed up slightly from straight-ahead. The nice part about the Hawkeye is that you can experiment with all three angles without having to drill any new holes in helmet.

It was probably before slashdot. They stopped making the NeXT Cube in '93 or '94, and they ported NeXTSTEP to the 486 around the same time. A few years later (95/96) Apple bought NeXT (ironically, NeXT had been founded by Steve Jobs after he lost a power struggle and left Apple) and began turning it into what eventually became OS X.

got a big forehead? aka ebay forehead advertising space auctions

I'd prefer a rock to wind a string around. -
We've owned 3 popups over the years. I can't recall any leak issues. The bed sections are essentially very heavily constructed canvas tents. If the camper is very old or poorly maintained leaks can be an issue.

I'm not sure how many jumps it has on it. I'm sure the seller told me when I bought it, but I can't remember. Probably a few hundred jumps at most. I think it might look more beat-up than it really is because I adjusted the brightness levels to make the damage show up better, and white jumpsuits, in my experience, then to look grubbier sooner than other colors. It is quite snug across my gut, but no more than my slick RW suit which has lasted 300+ jumps with zero damage.
-
As you can tell from the attached pictures the damage is mostly on the panel between the tabs on each side and in an inch-long section on each of the chest zippers. It looks like the fabric was pulled perpendicular to the seams. I'm thinking this may have happened if the suit was accidentally hooked up with the harness laced in a tab or two lower than it should have been. When I deployed the harness would have slid up and put tension on the seams. Has anybody seen this before? I've done a half-dozen jumps since I noticed the damage it hasn't worsened noticeably, so I'm not worried about jumping with it. I'm mostly interested in repair costs and/or how it would affect the value of the suit, as I am planning on selling it and I can't really afford to have it repaired first.

I dunno. I hit a smaller animal (human) at 50-ish and my car looked pretty much the same. A lot less blood, though.
-
You aren't the only one who noticed this (check out the Goofs section).

I have an almost-new C bracket for a PC105, and no Hawkeye to put it on. It's just a bent piece of 1/8" aluminum. Shouldn't be to hard to make one yourself.

I would love to see McCain carry the Republican nomination in '08. I think he's the best candidate I've seen since I've been able to vote, from any party (this is coming from somebody who, after considering the issues, almost always ends up voting Democrat).

Most magazines are mailed second class. First class is faster, obviously, but it isn't necessary for most people.
