Along the same thought that millions of school children ride to school everyday without wearing a seatbelt. I always wear my seatbelt and think it's a good idea....BUT.... how can you receive a ticket for not wearing one when children do it everyday? Is it a money thing that ALL school buses don't have them? (please don't tell me that the buses are designed in a way they don't need them...)

LOL....no, it was supposed to be sarcastic. I was just waiting for the onslot of questions.... What type of seatbelt were they using? Were they at the beginning or end of the ride? Was the sun high in the sky or was it later in the day? Who sold this kid the ticket? Should we *really* let people this age ride coasters? .....and the other 100 questions that go for 4 pages before we get the facts of a fatality. YES, Perfect summary........some people don't feel this way though

ANOTHER fatality at Disney!! This makes the third in the past 2 years. UNACCEPTABLE. These people didn't know they might die....they didn't sign any waivers telling them about injury or death. Disney didn't ask each of these people about health.. I think we need to ground...err shut down ALL rollercoasters till they figure out what happened. To make it worse the poor kid was only 12! I'm not trying to make light of a death. Just it would be nice if we get facts about skydiving accidents before we run off on 4 pages of posts following a fatality...Sometimes people die unfortunately ..Information and education.. Sorry.... WTF ever....PD spent TOO much money trying to satisfy 6% of the whining skydiving community. They could have spent all that time and money on something that would have made them FAR more money than larger Katana's........Think PD is all about $$.......you have no clue...

Yeah, we got a little break from the heat today! (It's been 105-108 mostly) Hmmn, whats to do? Well, I have been dragged to Curves which had excellent..uh...food. The tunnel hasn't been very busy so you could spend some time there! I think I'll be gone by the time you get here..

LOL I was driving down Oracle last night at 8PM and saw the outside temp.......103!! DRRRRR How do you live like this for 5 months?

I thought that last week too.......UNTIL I got to AZ Sunday and it was 108. This morning at 9:45 I saw a temp of 96 and when I went to dinner @ 8 tonight it was still 103!!!! (F that dry heat saying)

When I earned my AFF JM rating, one of my original Jm's told me that," You learn 10x as much from 1000-2000 jumps then from 0-1000." I had 500 jumps at the time and though he was nuts......Well, many years later and turning the X000 number a couple times, he was right. Hell, I'm learning more and getting more experience in between 4 & 5000 than I could ever imagine! But what is scary to me is how many people with 500-1000 jumps who "know it all" and don't need further training.

Last week was the first time i placed in 5 weeks...EVERYBODY has a chance to win every week. Those who play A-5 and Q -7 off all the time just have less of a chance!! I guess I can retire from the games if you don't want my money in the pot! FYI: I have spent $320 of my winnings in satellite tourneys for the WSOP. If I make it in one of the three chances i have, and place out in Vegas, there will be a HUGE Freeroll for the SDR folks!!

Yep, I have 3 chances in the next week to get into the WS. If I get in and place in the $$ we are going to have a HUGE SDR FREEROLL with payouts to everybody that plays!

Awfully nice of the cameraman to come down right in front and below of the level 3 right at pull time too.. He gets the students attention and what does the student do? Follow him with his eyes and head thus dearching at pull time.

I remember her smiling face sitting next to me in Dublin.....It was nice..much nicer than the scowl I got the first time i met her.....She will be missed.

There is..One thing i have learned...enjoy life i know S did..Although we are all sad right now. I know S would appreciate it if we all had fun in her memory ....my ..... I didn't think my weekend would get any worse...... wow

Glad everything turned out alright!!! To add to your post, I have seen MANY people surprised on how hard it is to pull their cutaway handle even on the ground. It is VERY important to peel the velcro before the pull. These hard cutaway pulls are amplified when it happens on new gear or with articulated harness' on short woman. When there is just enough room on the MLW to fit a cutaway handle, I have seen some heavy pull forces. Pull your handles when ever you can! (repack OR when you go to your rigger and have him show you how to clean you cutaway cables!!)
