Campus Concealed Carry likely to make a showing in TX this session
firemedic replied to rhaig's topic in Speakers Corner
Gun Control Act of 1968 stated: Minors defined as under the age of eighteen for long guns and handguns, with the exception of Vermont, eligible at age sixteen You only have to be 21 to buy from a DEALER. Yes, you are correct. Possession of handgun is also allowed at age 16 in Utah while at a range. -
There, that should solve this problem of depictions of an evil Santa! +1

I jumped in Buckeye Arizona for a year. Landing area was desert soil. I moved to Indiana and after about 15 jumps you couldn't tell the canopy had been in the desert, except for the lines but it was due for a new set anyway.

IMO I'd go with the mode change.

Haha we have one of those ~ you're talking about the Humpback, right? yeah, that does kick! Thats the one! -
I'm not happy with the service I got in the least. But I'm very pleased with the guys who found my canopies. I sent one of them to MEL who put a correctly trimmed lineset on it. He said if it still opens too hard I can either put a dome slider or the H Mod on it. I'll bring up this in the Gear and Rigging thread if the openings still suck.

I bought 2 new cobalts in 2008. They had opening problems so after much wrangling with Atair I sent them back to get em "Fixed" I made repeated calls to check their status and all I got was bupkis. They dissappeared into a black hole there and then Atair USA went under. I posted a thread about the problems I had with Atair and I listed the canopies as Lost in the stolen gear data base. A couple former employees of Atair, Greg Markwardt and Bryan Moffett happened to see my thread and contacted me. They located my canopies and shipped them back to me at their own expense. I just wanted to post this here to recognize their honesty. Thanks Guys. Whenever I get to Texas it's steak dinners and all the beer you drink.

QuoteI've taken 6'8 or 6'9, couple of WSU basket ball players, but then I'm 6'8". That was out of a 182 too, not an issue at all as long as everyone folds up well. looked at the pic and I think your on to something there. All she has to do is only take tall guys and they can all walk out the door with her.

Yup, he designed those and a LOT of other weapons, many which he sold to Colt or other manufacturers to make under their name. I remember duck hunting with my uncle back in the 70s He let me use his Browning Auto 5. That bastard had a hell of a kick. -
I'd do the next repack for free.

Well, they started the burn at 11:00 california time. Didn't realize how big of a house it was. They had the house completely involved in less than 15 minutes. The media sure are eating this one up. -

[I can think of several explosives that will go off in a fire without requiring a detonation. Nitroglycerin comes to mind. So, for that matter, does plain old gunpowder. I have to disagree with you on those. Gunpowder isnt and explosive, its a combustible solid. Nitro in its pure form is extremely shock sensative. Today nitro is used in a stable mixture in dynamite. You can throw a stick of it in a fire and it will burn but it won't blow. Needs a blasting cap, or another initiating charge to detonate. -
My wish list item: a magic pocket with an unlimited supply of jump tickets and cold beer. I want a Bottle of Scotch that refills itself when I'm sleeping. Oh Yea, I have a Javelin with Skyhook (used twice) and all the other bells and whistles. Love the Articulation and Spacerfoam. Most comfortable rig I've ever had.
