I don't hate any of you. I just wish that you guys would take religion and keep it private. I object when you guys try, for example, to get the government to enforce your religion. I mean what's it to you that some woman somewhere has an abortion or uses some other form of birth control? What is it to you that gays hook up and want the social sanction of marriage? Why do you stand in the way of science that can potentially alleviate massive amounts of human suffering (stem cells, in case you were wondering)? Why do you guys try to force science classes and other curiccula (biology) to comply with your mythology (ID and creationism)? Why can't I, as a non-believer, buy a beer or a car on Sunday? Why do I have to defer to the religious sensibilities of X-tains and tolerate a de facto censorship in the media I choose to consume? What is it about others living differently from what your religion thinks is proper, but is not harmful to others, that causes you guys to try to dominate? I mean the bottom line is: Who asked you? So if I sound like I have "anger issues", consider that nearly every day I have to, in some way, defer to your religion. I have to buy censored newspapers, watch censored network TV and news, have to work and schedule around your religions' sabbath, have to go WAY out of the way to get to a titty bar, have to listen to believers and politicians slander me as a group and then react with outrage when I object. They worked on this at Johns Hopkins University, which is more or less in my back yard. They pretty conclusively demonstrated that the virus affected certain hormone regulating genes that were related to obesity in mice and rats. How's that? ALL religions are fairy tales. They all claim the same thing, namely, monopoly on the truth, and are all subsequently proven wrong. At one time Zeus was considered to be the one true god, yet no one seems to take that seriously today. (The Zoroastrians in eastern Turkey and western Iran, notwithstanding.) They don't think we're mad, they think we're evil. Big difference. Christians in particular think that atheists are actually believers of the character satan from their mythology. No matter what you try to say in defense, like: "I don't believe in him either", or words to that effect, nothing seems to convince them. They till persist in the delusion that we atheists "worship" their satan. Name one thing that religion supplies that can't be derived from a secular source. In fact, religions of every stripe, but christians in particular, are the chief enemies of moral, social and scientific progress. Religion is the largest single evil in the world today. I don't say that to be provocative, but, rather, factual. Religion gave us the crusades, the inquisition, the Holocaust, Al Qeda, Northern Ireland, thousands of sex scandals, thousands of child abuse scandals, thousands of fleecing scandals (and other forms of fraud) , anti semitism and is the root cause of things like over population and slavery. No person ever does evil things so effectively as when he thinks he's got god on his side. So exactly what good is it? Let the shitblizzard begin.
