There are people who never uses any type of alit, but i'll bet they will swoop better if they reach their initiation point at consistent altitude by using altimeter. Name one canopy pilot that placed top 5, hitting pro gates that doesn't use altimeter and they go all eye-ball status in USPA canopy national. It is hard to distinguish between 950-1000. It is even harder to distinguish between 1100-1200 ft, setting up for 450 and 630's. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

PDr flaired like typical PD canopy. Smart flaired like typical Aerodyne canopy. That tells you alot. If I had 20lbs of weight and loading it around 1.9 to 2.0 I would prefer PD. At typical reserve wingload between 1.0 to 1.6, I would jump either one o them. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

Yeah, I jumped that way for a long time as well. but not to the full potential of your 25 bucks. t-shirt and freefly pants are the worst combo for sit flying. Specially if you are new and trying to learn. yeah, you can sit fly in anything, track pants and no shirt. but not easy as a even drag thru the body, you'll have much easier time turning points while sit flying with proper suit. You can easily pack noes 109 into v306 bag. Neos 109 packs little smaller than crossfire 119 or as big as 119. It only has x-bracing in the center cell and and its small stabilizer does not add too much bulk. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

if your main flap is very tight against the pin, the pin will not stand immediately and swing up towards the end of the pin first. if you insist on smily face myth and the pin swings up and tip catches the bridal it can create a container lock. tip of the pin should point away from the bridal. plus 1 on that comment. seriously, don't waste your money on suit that fits no one. you could've spent just 700 dollar on a suit. not 200 wasted than another 700. so that jump suit now costed you 900 dollar. if you bought that 200 dollar generic suit, that one will sit in garage somewheres until you get your tandem rating. and flying with freefly pants and t-shirt doesn't work either. and that freefly pants sat somewhere until I got my tandem rating. Remember, you'll need recent designed recirculating tunnel in order to fly naked and have sex in any body orientation. And the recirc are not that noisy compare to old open tunnel design. 12 ft or bigger in order for a 4 way or more, if everyone can fly vertical you may fit more than 6 people in 12 footer. zero, I competed zero times total. I'm a pure spectator. As a spectator I loved old rules, seeing people going big, and gaining incredible height out of the gate and crashing down yet able to walk away. New rules are more technical and safer for the competitors but to the spectator it looks boring. Big boy challenge at Mile High, now that was something worth while to see. It is called distance event, hit the gate, and go far as your skill and canopy will take you. That is the shit.
