What I've found. Since i was having trouble with my new Core and I was wondering what the refresh rate was on the screen of Core while in Altimeter mode. The refresh interval of the displayed altitude value depends on vertical speed. The displayed altitude is refreshed at 1s when vertical speed is bigger that 30m/min, 5s when vertical speed is bigger than 10m/min and 10s when bigger than 5m/min. Suunto Vector doesn't seem to have this algorithm built into it, Core does, So therefore if you sit in breaks under canopy, Core will refresh the screen every 5 or 10 seconds. Some paraglider came up with this same issue as well and as for the remedy goes, you turn on your altimeter logbook and make sure the recording interval is at every seconds, and it will work for 30 mins. Does anyone have any trouble with it?? Such as it doesn't show corrected altitude on the way up?? I've seen many Core units that will show 1500 to 2000 ft off at jump run. Users all say it works under canopy, yet how do you trust it when it doesn't work in jump run?? Is that because they didn't lock the watch to altimeter setting or the new ones reads correctly?? I've changed my point of view after real experiences with student shooting the go pro. Ti should wear it. You don't wanna deal with student's arm swinging around wildy on exit, trust me on that one. And they don't really shoot usable footage. If you don't aim for them during free fall, 30 to 50 percent would shoot some random thing for the entire free fall. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

Do you still fly it??? I've seen two scirocco fly, both of them flown by not so great swoopers so I can't really say how they perform. But both of pilot agrees that openings are beyond high performance, and it will scan the traffic for you left and right. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

Perris has real restaurants, real pool, huge landing area, there are people who will come out to pick you up if you land farther than main landing area, collection of otters and sky van, and Tunnel on site if you struggle thru the aff level 4, and all the jumps are recorded on gopro for debrief. Elsinore has food vendor thing with hotdogs, inflatable pool, used to be huge landing area, you better walk back if you land far out, two otter and one short caravan. and Tunnel near by at Perris if you struggle thru aff level 4, if your affi has any sense he or she will bring gopro and show it to you afterwards but not mandatory. All we are trying to say is that, there is a better tool for the job, but stiletto will work. Given condition that the hill is steep enough and there is some wind to help out. Even with no wind, I've seen plenty of stiletto, x-fire, alpha, cobalt, safire fly. Many just try em out at the site that has too little runaway and the hill not so steep enough. If you aren't seeing any active flying on that certain hill, than it is probably not doable. Remember, it requires lots of runway to take off specially with skydiving wing, and requires very steep hill, and another runway to land. Only issue was the toggle pressure. Being on it for the very first time, I practiced turn and flair like nothing else, by 2000 ft I came to realize that "Holy fuck, I better save my arm strength for the final turn and flair. I had relatively light passenger as well, appox 160 lbs. After this, I'm rethinking taking anyone over 220 now. Any storys out there flying vector reserve with very heavy student ??? 240 lbs + ??? I mean, it opened nice, it flairs, but they suck ass. It is one of the longest, continually produced ram-air parachute and has ton of jumps as a main, but after all that years can't we make something better???
