    rolliing should not matter, but when I was jumping saber 1 that opened brisk every single time, rolling the nose inward helped. I think certainly it will open faster if you open up the nose wide open outward like reserve pack job. what I learn after jumping hard opening canopy was, whatever you do it will open hard. sell em and buy something else.     there is a place where you can actually do that. but in order to survive and do it again. Just fly couple times in tunnel and get used to freefall, and buy yourself a speedwing, and footlaunch yourself after watching youtube and search internet forums how to foot launch that will get you solid at canopy skill oh yeah, and watch people's cutaway on youtube for emergency procedure. and than go to this special place where you can actually rent and jump without any qualification, and no there is no waiver at this place. I love jumping at that place and it is cheap jump ticket too. just don't fuck up the landing pattern. people will bitch at you hard for that. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

    you sit while you go up the alititude, and you sit in the harness. even back to back how do you manage to do 4 in an hour??? unless you've got king air. I would love to do back to back all day. so typical 10 hour work day in summer you make 40 jumps?? Bernie Sanders for President 2016

    with tandems, max you can do is 3 in an hour, given that it goes up to 12.5. with packing, max you can pack is 12 to 15 sport rig and 8-10 tandems. at max pace all day long, unpacking tandem parachute is much easier than packing tandem parachute. IMO. You just sit there for 20 min and get out,throw drouge, pull drogue release, flair land, drop your gear and done. while when the ti's get down from 20 min of sitting, your packer have just finished packing 3rd tandem rig.     I've got close to 30 jumps on specter on differnt sizes and they always slam the shit out of me, it will pretend like snivel at first and slam!!! nothing opens soft like crossfire or katana. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

    agreed on whatever you fly the most you'll be good at. horrible idea for using 9 cell and going to 7 cell for the comp. as far as longer recovery arc being safer is flawed logic, i believe, or other wise we wouldn't have seen so many people pounding in with much greater force on a katana vs stiletto. JVX dives long enough, given proper technique. JVX vs Velo, it is like comparing apple and orange. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

    quicker recover arc mean, you stab on the rear or breaks it will recover and fly level. so i think it has better chance of saving your ass when you are in the corner...     anything that produces less than 135 mph is fake tunnel. Perris and Hollywood. Hollywood used to reach up to 155=170 ish, than the crack happened, and they detuned it to 145-155 ish. than VFD went out, and they detuned it down to 135-140. Belly/Back flying is fine but anything else, you'll have to work hard. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

    Lodi, if you go there by yourself and not such a badass, you might have some difficult time there, but plus side is cheap tickets and there is real tunnel, sfbay. Elsinore, friendly environment and have organizer thur, sat and sun, and there are two fake tunnels, hollywood and perris, and if wingsuiting is main goal there is great program over at elsinore that will accomodate jumpers with over 200 jumps, and the view from the up top is much better than Lodi, Perris. Also Elsinore has amazing weather, such a drastic difference between Perris and Elsinore despite of 10 mile separation. Perris is 20 min drive away, and there are more rules, killing the fun factor but there are other perks as well, there is restaurant on site, load organizer everyday. pool and shade for the hot summer days, and there are people who will pick you up if you land off.     Perris and the wind tunnel will get you skills that you need to pass. Weather cooperation will be the main factor. There is very few student who will fail after 30 to 60 min of tunnel time between level 3 and 4, and that tunnel time alone is 400 to 800 dollars. 65% don't need tunnel time at all, some do, few are required. Just fill up the 25 with hop and pops for the quick jump number ups. There is no way you'll be jumping after the burning man for atleast 2 to 3 day, you'll need recovery after the burn. good luck.
