Hmm. Maybe not, so I did answer the poll, just not reiterate my 2.23 and 2.4 wingloads. Oops! I just did it.

This thread has been done many times in the past. Do a search.

I am one good-looking motherfucker! My dad claims he is still better looking, but I know better. Modesty runs in the family....

Whats the highest # of users seen online at once?

The sheer volume is staggering. It's like a Telefunken U-47! -
Alright. That's enough..................

Pardon me???? That might be California rules, but over here, you are definitely buying beer for your first jump. If we are talking AFF, then you are definitely buying another after your Cat E's.

Swoop comp at ASC (NOV 1,2,3)
SkymonkeyONE replied to SkymonkeyONE's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Eric is flying. I am picking him up either here in NC, or down in Atlanta. Tickets from there to Atlanta would be VERY cheap if you bought them now. -
Do tandems help on swooping?
SkymonkeyONE replied to PhreeZone's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
I can tell you that landing a Sigma, Cobalt, or Icarus tandem main definitely helps with swooping, as that is how most of us land them; not just "flare and stop" like on an old worn-out 421. Chuck -
I am not sure how many people have Dexadrine laying around to waste on a pooch.

That evidence was expunged from the record.

Yeah. I do seem to remember seeing a pic of what I am talking about in just "pants with a leg wing" form. As for the running, what does that have to do with tracking in anything other than a BASE use? Anyway, the amount of wing I am talking about would only come to around the knees, possibly a bit higher and rounded, like on a Classic. It's actually pretty easy to run in a classic. As far as leg power on a tandem or AFF power goes, I think I will stick to my knife-edge booties on my comp suit. Still, I think the track pantz will sell by the droves. Chuckie

Swoop comp at ASC (NOV 1,2,3)

Hey Ramon, There's nothing to it, but to do it, like Pruitt used to do it, when he DID do it! Come on over and let's mix it up! -
a paintball gun is a fine idea. I second the motion. I won't post how we deal with this sort of thing in Alabama.

Jennifer Lopez vs. Angelina Jolie based on sex appeal
SkymonkeyONE replied to gale's topic in The Bonfire
My take on the thread now that some other names have been thrown around: Gwen Stefani is probably a good wrassle, but damn, she needs to spend about seven grand on some TITS! I think both JLo and Angelina are pigs, but would still probably put the "huck-a-buck" on the latter. I think Alyssa Milano is totally hot. "Embrace of the Vampire" lezbo scene anyone? (or was it "kiss of the vampire?" I forget) Kate Winslet has nice cans. I bet she is a good wrassle, once you get past that english twit prim and proper facade. That is all... Azul sends -
Swoop comp at ASC (NOV 1,2,3)
SkymonkeyONE replied to SkymonkeyONE's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Since nobody from the DZ has done it yet, I will post this for them: Atlanta Skydiving Center in Cedartown, GA (actually closer to Rock Mart) will be holding their first annual fall swoop meet from November 1st thru 3rd. This is the second meet on their pond. We had a good time down there in the spring, so I have no reason to doubt they will run a good meet this time. Anyway, I am definitely going to be there, driving down from North Carolina early to screw off and work. Eric Butts is coming from Texas to raise hell with me and put the swoopy-wompus on it. Anyone else interested? I am not sure if they have the website dates squared away yet, but the meet is listed on the ASC site somewhere. I will post more later, after I have more info. Chuck -

Just so you know, there is also a swoop meet at ASC that weekend (november 1,2,3). Myself and Eric Butts will be there. Chuck -
Whats the highest # of users seen online at once?
SkymonkeyONE replied to AggieDave's topic in The Bonfire
I saw 79 registerd users and 38 or 39 anonymous users yesterday at one point. Not bad, but it does make for a lot of "fluff" threads and posts. Chuck -
LeRoy, you already have a BirdMan suit, so why are you concerned anyway? On a different note. I am not sure why a set of pants (with non-inflating legs) which had a leg wing slightly smaller than a Classic wouldn't be better than this idea. Just a thought. Chuck

Lila, doing front and back loops are just like you would do them from a face-down float in a pool. For a front loop from the belly to earth position, simply duck your head while putting your arms out, then "pulling" them up over your head and around. bring your heels to your butt until they are back around and you are about sitting vertically, then arch out and stop the rotation. For a back flip, reach your hand forward and grab air with both hands, "pushing" over backwards while simultaneously pulling your knees into your chest. Make a circling motion with your hands around to the front until you head is just past pointing at the ground, then arch out of it and stop the rotation. Like I said, you can exactly replicate the moves from a face-down float, just underwater, in a pool. Chuck

Yes, but will there be any freaky european boozehags on the premises? Some of them smell like farm animals, you know?
