    Very doubtful unless those locking stows were very loose, in other words the lines were just sitting in the rubber bands, with no actual tension on the lines. You will get lots of people on here that tell you to double stow the locking stows, and an equal amount of people telling you to never double stow those stows. It doesn't matter. I have always single stowed those lines on every canopy I have owned that wasn't switched over to tube stows. If someone packed for me and double stowed them I wouldn't loose any sleep either. Those are some of the thickest bites of line for the whole back job because that is above the cascades, and there is more line bulk. So how loose were those stows?     That isn't my guess, unless you have a grossly over sized pilot chute. I single stow my locking stows, and as long as the line bites are long enough, and they aren't loose in the bands that should keep the canopy bagged until line stretch. Double stows are fine too. They key here is that the bites of line for the locking stows need to be long enough, and the bands need to have enough tension around the line bite. Are you struggling to bag the canopy? That is often when the slider comes back off the slider stops. I would think that you are either losing control of the slider, or something is wrong with the canopy. You may have gotten the canopy either out of trim, or with the wrong size slider. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

    Doubt it. Caribbean drop zones are pretty few and far in between. I thought grand Turk would be a good location for one, some nice flat open land by the airport. Crack a beer and the skies will part and the winds will fall. The second I drop this 1k on two 3+ black cameras, and a glove at retail, the 4 will be released, and the retail price on the 3+'s will drop 100 bucks. Oh well.     I wouldn't tell you to your face either. I would send you a registered letter than you a no longer welcome at my place of business, and that further contact with the business would be met with a restraining order, and further defamation of my business on public forums would be met with a lawsuit. There is now another show, which I think looks really shitty, about another family who was squatting on public land in some shit cabin. The state burnt down their house, and now they are moving further in to the bush. That is the show which was mentioned by the OP. Good day Sir.     In general yes, they are responsible for taxes. Individuals with US citizenship are taxed on their world wide income. If they are also paying foreign taxes they have the opportunity to take either a deduction for foreign taxes paid, or a foreign tax credit. This applied only to income tax types, I don't believe you can claim VAT for example. There have also been numerous foreign account reporting programs over the past few years, that have stiff penalties for non compliance. This hypothetical person is going to need a good tax attorney if they missed the foreign account reporting deadlines, and then later voluntary disclosure periods, and haven't been filing US tax returns.
