  1. So are you meeting people who can't stop talking about the benefits of hemp, but still think marijuania is bad? Because that's my point. It's about the weed. I've never read any essays on the wonderful qualities of hemp by George Washington. Are you opposed to legalizing marijuania? If you are I will gladly concede that I am wrong.
  2. MJ should of course be legal but I don't get the whole pro hemp thing. Isn't it really just about the weed. Have you EVER met a non smoker talk about all the great things hemp has to offer?
  3. It's a government experiment in "social darwinism". Anyone MAY live off passive income, not everyone can. Once they figure out why people spend their lives as working schmucks, they'll genetically weed them out, by sending them to china to work in factories. JP Morgan's brain was put on ice and he's directing it all from behind the curtain.
  4. Yeah, it's not like the good old days when you were voting for either JP Morgan or JD Rockefeller every time. Or maybe we still are, where are the good conspiracy theory experts?
  5. It's a good question, but I don't think the jury's out yet on the results. Supposedly "Inflation" isn't a problem, but precious metals have skyrocketed, oil has skyrocketed, real estate has skyrocketed. We're just now starting to see it affect real estate. With US interest rates so low, and the dollar being devaluated, oil WILL rise. If the world wide demand is still there it will stay. If incomes are not rising by the same amount it should eventually be a problem. Edited to add - Just my humble opinion, who the hell can figure this stuff out anymore.
  6. Can't we just drop a couple of big bombs at the American Idol finale and get rid of these people once and for all?
  7. Know of any candidates other than Huckabee who support it?
  8. You socialists are funny... you think the "government" will take care of poor people.
  9. Yeah it's ridiculous. Taking something out of context, to get people pissed off is right out of the propaganda 101 course.
  10. OK, I got through about 10 minutes of those pussies before I comfortably decided they had "picked a side" before researching. They didn't seem interested in SH's violation of international law. That somehow gets overlooked. Maybe I just didn't make it far enough in the video. I'm sure you'll correct me if that's true. I just get tired of clicking on something only to find it's another piece of propaganda. SH signed a cease fire agreement so that his army would not be totally annhialated. It was getting pretty gruesome for him... had it gone on for a few more days it would have been MUCH more gruesome. In the 90s he constantly violated his cease fire agreement, shooting at our pilots, who were trying to enforce our "internationally legal agreement". In 98 he finally decided to kick out all UN weapons inspectors. Does the international law only apply to the United States? Was SH Exempt? What do you do when someone violates international law? Who enforces it? Was SH's violation of "international law" on that video? I'm sure I'll get flamed for saying this, and i'm speaking from a strategic viewpoint, but WW1 and WW2 were a result of not finishing the enemy; just like the 1st and 2nd gulf war. The European powers let Germany violate many of their cease fire agreements too. Now I know SH didn't have the military might of Nazi Germany, but it does say something about the power of international law. League of Nations? cParis Peace conference? Did the first GW not have the hindsight to see we would be tangled up again? Maybe he just had the foresight to see that it would become the Jihadist's ultimate adventure. There's always more to the story. Peace is ALWAYS temporary, unless organic animals become extict. Believe me I'm no big fan of how this war was executed, but we can't change history. There you go... my 2 cents...tear me a new one. I'm not a lawyer.
  11. War profiteer... I knew it.
  12. You F-ing facsist neo con. How dare you disagree with someone. You probably don't even think Bush is the next Hitler ...sucker.
  13. This board gets funnier and funnier. Do that many people really use the term "neo con" in everyday conversation?
  14. Nice spin, but it's pretty obvious that the resolution specified Iraq. Just because the government screwed the pooch on this one doesn't change what they voted for. Thanks for implying i'm stupid for disagreeing with you though... I thought this was supposed to be fun.
  15. Billvon, Billvon, Billvon...who's payroll are you on man? I see you conveniently skipped to sec. 3 part two. You should try reading all of it. See I can copy and paste too. SEC. 3. AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES. (a) AUTHORIZATION- The President is authorized to use the Armed Forces of the United States as he determines to be necessary and appropriate in order to-- (1) defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by IRAQ; and (2) enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding IRAQ. (b) PRESIDENTIAL DETERMINATION- In connection with the exercise of the authority granted in subsection (a) to use force the President shall, prior to such exercise or as soon thereafter as may be feasible, but no later than 48 hours after exercising such authority, make available to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President pro tempore of the Senate his determination that-- (1) reliance by the United States on further diplomatic or other peaceful means alone either (A) will not adequately protect the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by IRAQ or (B) is not likely to lead to enforcement of all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding IRAQ; and (2) acting pursuant to this joint resolution is consistent with the United States and other countries continuing to take the necessary actions against international terrorist and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. (c) War Powers Resolution Requirements- (1) SPECIFIC STATUTORY AUTHORIZATION- Consistent with section 8(a)(1) of the War Powers Resolution, the Congress declares that this section is intended to constitute specific statutory authorization within the meaning of section 5(b) of the War Powers Resolution. (2) APPLICABILITY OF OTHER REQUIREMENTS- Nothing in this joint resolution supersedes any requirement of the War Powers Resolution.
  16. No... the equivalent would be this: A judge authorizing the use of the death penalty for a specific individual, and the jury giving it to him. It was specific against Iraq. Nice spin though.
  17. Yeah, good start Best debt = debt that produces passive income. Poor people live paycheck to paycheck, Middle class gets in consumer debt, Rich people get into income producing debt.
  18. This is fun to read. Please share some more uneducated cliches with us.
  19. This whole thing's gonna suck for everybody if it goes on too long.
  20. Uh oh... he can funnel munitions into Iraq and kill our guys...but now he's denying the gays. Those liberal NYC types will never tolerate that. He had a good run.
  21. *** And you forgot to mention the hostages from 25 years ago as well? *** I'll mention them, Col Chuck Scott and a few others swear that Ahmadinejad was one of his kidnappers.
  22. You know the 9/11 report mentions contacts between Iran and Al Queda. Just because they're Shia doesn't mean they haven't supported Sunni terrorists.
  23. *** Unfortunately most people who join are in middle to low income families who need money for school. I think for some it might not be that they believe in war but that they want a better life and this is the only way they see of achieving it. *** I would say way an overwelming percent of the men I served with would consider themselves middle class, and that's an infantry unit. If one wants financial aid for college, they just have to not get a felony, it's really not that hard.
  24. Vote for K.C. so we can finally witness the first great big world hug. There... I paraphrased it for those who don't want to watch it.
