You're not running for public office, are you?
-
You could probably remove it quickly using a Skil saw. Just set your blade depth properly.

Do they have one for mother in laws, too? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't even have one, but I could use some coal. It's kind of cool here in N. Fl.

Should there be a televised Christmas excecution of Saddam?
Royd replied to vortexring's topic in Speakers Corner
Maybe it happened only in the movies, but hangings of criminals in the Old West was a public spectacle, with sassafras and all. -
There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998

Wasn't it CNN who filmed the sniping of our soldiers by insurgents? -
They're child's play compared to those things called Goat's heads in Idaho. they'll flatten a car tire.

They don't call it God's waiting room for no reason!

What was the worst Christmas present you ever recieved?
Royd replied to SkydiveStMarys's topic in The Bonfire
That really is sad, but what a great picture. -
I'm kind of sorry she's gone. She was such a great representation of the Democratic party. The truth is, she is an ignorant, self absorbed racist.

At least you have to believe that there is a god, so we have a point of agreement and something to work with.

I commend you for your personal integrity. It seems to be a rare quality these days.

How many jumps for skydiving respect?

I'm learning that the more you know, the more you know you don't know. -
You're not demanding a weeklong holiday.

Kwanzaa is not supposed to be a substitute for Christmas. Then make it one day and be done with it. Let's call it St. Martin's Day.

Sort of like when the govt. sets itself up as the endall to problems. Don't worry, you won't have to get a job or improve your life. We'll take someone else's money and give it to you. Just stay on the plantation and don't stir up a lot of trouble.

Hey, where have you been. I've missed you. Not.!

It was the same with me in both situations. I took a video of this year's Hog Flop Boogie to some friends at Thanksgiving. Only one seven yr. old boy sat and watched it with me. The rest of the people were just ho-hum about it. At the point, I decided never to bother them again about it. When I got saved in'83, I told everyone, especially my family. My Dad is agnostic, at best, and the rest of the family are hardcore Catholic. Eventually, they told me to just shutup, so I did. We, as Christians, do not save anyone. We can only tell someone about Christ and the salvation the He has provided for us. I donot disagree with him. The structure of the Bible points to the fact that the Law of Moses was given to the people before the Savior was given to them. I find it quite common amongst the people in this forum. I'm a good guy, I've never killed anyone, I try to help those in need. In other words, if there is a God, and he sent a Savior, He wasted his time on them because they're good enough. Until you come to the personal knowledge that you are a lawbreaker at heart, you will have no need for someone or something to change your very being. This is the purpose of the Law. On an aside, I find it strange that the practioners of Judaism, although they deny Christ, find no need for the sacrificial requirements of the Old Testament. Within the Body of Christ [the true church, those who are saved] people are given different ministries by God. I find that this tends to be based on a person's personality. Some are quiet and gentle, some are forceful and outgoing, some are encouragers, and others can work without someone telling what the next move is.

Until the free world wakes up as a whole, and comes to the reality about who is causing these problems, and decides to deal with it head on, consequences be damned, it will continue.

I had a lady ask me why I didn't have call waiting. I said,"I do, it's called a busy signal."

There are too many PC wusses out there who won't let a man be a man, and take care of business. It's pretty hard to kick ass and take names when you have to worry about civilians, children and infrastructure

Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm still reeling from that brutal 2006 hurricane season. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There weren't any hurricanes because there was an El Nino which cooled the surface of the ocean, which was caused by global warming.

Just think how sad it would all be without Christmas. There wouldn't even be the story of Scrooge. Ba hum bug. Just a cold, dark, depressing time of year.

Go back and remember when you first started jumping. You viewed life differently, and couldn't shut up about it. Receiving the new birth is the same way. A radical change will happen in your thinking processes. You won't have to be put into a room to be brainwashed. You will know that something has happened to you that you can't really explain. At this point it will be helpful to have someone you can trust to bounce questions off of. Of course, just like in skydiving, those who are interested will show interest, and those who aren't will shut you down quickly.
