Six Muslim Clerics Removed from USAir Flight for Praying
Royd replied to Andy9o8's topic in Speakers Corner
There are any number of minorities who run around with a chip on their shoulder, and look for opportunities to get it knocked off. If you can't see that, then you are wearing rose colored glasses. I can name any number of incidents from Cyntia McKinney to Rosie O'Donnell only yesterday. -

Only the Allah that tells them to kill the infidel. -
Name one planet in this solar system other than the third rock, which will sustain life, and prove it.
-
I believe that he put everything where it belongs, set it in motion, and left it to run its course. I believe that the Earth is the only sphere amongst the millions or billions out there that sustains any form of life. There are plenty of them out there that experience surface action, such as volcanic activity, and upheavals. We know that there are atmospheres on many, if not most of these spheres. All of the conditions are simply not there as a complete group to sustain life. For life to pick the one planet, even within our solar system, start itself up, and put itself into one huge functioning entity that we call nature is as far fetched as an invisible entity with unknown power, forming and casting everything into a perfect movement across the heavens. Look at the moon. How many large craters are on it? It very possibly was placed there as a meteor trap to keep the largest ones from reaching earth on a regular basis. A space shield of sorts. How far back does decipherable written record go, and where is it found. Does the term," the cradle of civilization" mean anything? Isn't the purpose of nature to flow together as one giant, smooth entity? Sort of like the original socialism. All that we, as humans, truly need is water, food, and shelter to survive. Yet, as a whole, the human race seems to be a restless bunch that can't be content with just having enough to sustain life. It's as if there is an inner clock that is bent on self destruction, some more than others. I do not believe that if the idea of God were removed from every single mind, that the human race would suddenly become one giant happy family. With only the threat of manmade law or personal revenge hanging over our heads, the world would decend into chaos very rapidly. He who dies with the most toys, wins.

So where do all of these complete skeletons that we see in museums come from? Another" We think this is what it looked like" fraud perpetuated upon the unknowing public.
-
Wait a minute, weren't you dogging my analogy about humans eventually gaining the ability to fly? Come on, man.

I'm such a Neanderthal that I didn't even notice.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And standing up on an airplane, and praying to Allah as a group, is an in your face, " fuck you, America" attitude. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. I don't believe that is what they did. I guess it would be kind of like a bunch of guys from Fl.St. painting their logo on the 50yd. line of the Swamp before the big game. Yer fixin' ta get yer ass kicked. -

Gee, seems the Christian religion gets stepped on, on a pretty regular basis. -

It seems that there is a bit of a conflict here. I thought that we were a melting pot, a place where different metals are put together to make a strong alloy, not something that separates and falls apart at the first blow of the hammer, because that is where we are headed. That means one direction, one flag, one purpose. That is the true freedom of all of mankind. If your religion demands that I submit to you, then, you need to leave. -

I'm with you on that. For them, it's not a two way street. If I had my way, there'd be a pig farm directly across the street from the main entrance of every mosque. -

Their standing up to pray and making a scene about it is no different than an evangelistic preacher feeling compelled to stand up and spend five minutes sharing the gospel with everyone so that their trip to hell isn't on his conscience. Many people here, who are defending those Muslims would be totallly incensed by the Christian. -

Please explain. I've never seen blacks, err, African Americans, making a scene praying on an airplane. The closest thing that I've seen was some Indian girl who had some kind of good luck beads in a bag, which she kept rubbing. That got pretty annoying. She was easy to look at, so she gets a pass! -

I just saw one of them on the news. He claims to be a US citizen and spoke fluent English. These men probably planned this move from the beginning. They could have gone into the toilet and prayed one at a time. I'm sure that Allah would have overlooked not following ritual to the letter. -
With the evolutionary theory, I won't have to worry about it. They will all trade places eventually.

Or going to Oxford!

In a word,"yes." According to Billvon's line of thinking, what did bats do before they could fly? Let me quess. They were tree rats. What did the tree rats do before they had the claws to be able to grip the bark of a tree? If you continue to reverse this thinking, eventually there are just globs of tissue that is prey for anything that comes along. Their only chance of survival is to breed in astounding numbers. But wait a minute. That would require a reproductive system that has to work perfectly from the formation of this particular creature. Every living thing on the earth has to have the ability to reproduce itself within its lifecycle. Otherwise, it is doomed to live only one generation. I don't think that it's the millions and millions of yrs. that Billvon keeps quoting for all of these changes to happen. As I said in an earlier post, a majority of the fossils that we find were laid down in a few catastrophic volcanic upheavals. Large dinosaur skeletons are found virtually intact. This eliminates a natural death with the possibility of the bones being carried away by another animal, or eventually deteriorating, and returning to the earth. We only have to look at Pompei as a recent example of this. Insects deteriorate extremely fast when left to the elements, yet we find layer upon layer of perfectly preserved imprints, all in the same location. Here's a serious question. What is the difference between the fossil records of the East coast, which seems to have been formed gently, as opposed to the Rockies and the west coast, which obviously experienced violent volcanic activity?
-
Since they are both rodents, at what point do we begin to call them bats? Eventually, some of them might run out of nuts due to a drought, and they just might get a hankering for blood. Then, we will have vampire squirrels. Don't you see the silliness of it all?
-
Are you talking about the roaches that fly. Those things sound like a helicopter and will actually fly right at you.
-
Brown Recluse. They are fast and scary!
-
There's the BS. From now till whenever those squirrels will only be able to go from a high elevation to a lower elevation, more commonly known as gliding. It will never be able to gain elevation, unless, by some chance, it catches an updraft, unlike the bat, whose wing has much more structure and was actually DESIGNED to gain elevation.

Sounds kind of like the Democrats.
