What kind of right wing tripe will we get to read here in SC today.
Royd replied to Amazon's topic in Speakers Corner
Well, apparently, the mainstream media believes in the old adage,'No news is good news." They never did mention the raising of $4M for a worthy charity, and there's been an awful lot of silence from Iraq. Could it be that the surge is actually working, and they are hoping that no one finds out? -
The war on poverty and programs like Headstart have given us two generations of fat slobs who can't put a proper sentence together. What's next?

A little History test, not sure if all the Qusetions are real
Royd replied to rapter's topic in Speakers Corner
Let's play a little game. We'll accept your premise of taking everything away from the man who has scrimped, saved, invested, and built a successful business. Let's say that the man is worth 1 million. He has 9 employees with your attitude, and by the will of the 'small' people, he is forced to divide his assets equally. Wow, you have $100,000 in your pocket. What are you going to do with it? Live fat for a couple of years? Start your own business? Oh, wait. You just hired three employees and each one of them gets $25,000. They got what they came for. Why should they put forth any effort to make your dream come true? Let's call this plan the socialist trickle down economics. -

How's that socialistic plan working for your neighbors over there in Michigan? -
The upside is that killings have decreased in News Orleans.

Why do you think they are trying to cram this stuff into kids heads at school in the 2nd and 3rd grade?
-
If you're trying to have children, they say that the only that you should have in your lap that is hot is your wife!

Obama showing his sense of patriotism and respect
Royd replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
Why should those Palace Guards with the big fuzzy hats spend their days standing at attention? After all, it's only protocol. They should be permitted to slouch, smile and make funny faces at the passing crowd. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On that note, I like to see those who are running for president respect long established protocol concerning the flag and the anthem, and if he becomes president, I'm paying his salary, so he needs to snap to. -
Do you think that he believes in kharma?

Reply To -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have you considered the fact that most lefties actually despise the military -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Which side of the aisle has constantly tried to shut off the funding for the TROOPS? Who tried to prevent the military vote in Fl. from being counted? Which side thinks that the whole world would be better off if the US didn't have a military? Need I go on?
-
Have you considered the fact that most lefties actually despise the military and would consider their presence on the streets, telling them what to do, offensive?

Maybe he didn't recognize the song. I know I didn't.Personally, I think that he's like so many liberals. He's embarassed to say that he's an American. -

>>>>>>>>Without the A bombs dropped on Japan, I dare say WWII would have gone on for another year or two and American casualties would have increased by 50% of the total casualties in the entire war on both fronts. Of course, I'm just guessing. Good grief, man. You are worse than a woman. You bitch about losing 3,000 men in 4 years, but, because it didn't actually happen, you don't have a problem with the possibility of losing over 1,000,000 men and killing millions more civilians just to avoid being called a bad guy. Give it some serious thought. Then come back and tell us what you would have done if you were President of the United States and actually loved your country.

NY lawmakers want to make Noose Display a Felony
Royd replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
Back when lynching was widespread, burning crosses were actively used to intimidate blacks. The message was typically one of two things - "get out of town" or "know your place". They were only used for those who didn't get out of town or learn their place. -
You might want to study WW 2 history. You don't have to speak German.
-
And what needs to be answered is that of why the US turn its most awesome weapon on civilians for the cause of effect, to wow the other side and the world. I won't wait for it, it simply won't happen -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lucky is the kind of person who happens to be playing on a ball team who has won every game through the season, is in the last game of the state championships, and he intentionally throws the game because nobody has a right to be that good.

Everybody deserves to win at something. Sort of like the family argument where the one who screams loudest and longest is considered the winner.

Is that what they call liberal, open minded tolerance? Seems about right. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Because the left is supposed to be so much more like Jesus.Oh, wait. They only use that concept if it gives them an emotional wedge, to take more of my money.

Although I didn't wear a helmet as a kid[they didn't exist] I would say that twice, as an adult, due to the way I ride, a helmet has saved me from major head trama. Head injuries kill long after you think that there's no problem. As for wearing a leash on the playground, that's either lazy or paranoid.

So you now admitt Reid was the spinner and not Limbaugh! Great, at least that got straightened out -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isn't it rather strange that when Rush was caught with unprescribed painkillers, the press couldn't shutup for weeks, but when he turns the tables on Asshat Reid, who is trying to shut the mouth of a private citizen, and raises 4.2 million for a military/law enforcement charity, not to mention setting an all time record for an E-Bay bid, not a word was uttered from the mainstream media? I watched ABC all weekend. Not a peep. Hmmmm. Edited to add: An awful lot of silence from the left wingers on this board.

Has anybody noticed that if the the child's head is the size of a pumpkin, so is the parent's, and the the dog can hardly walk? -
"Dumbledore is gay," the author responded to gasps and applause.
Royd replied to leewilcox's topic in Speakers Corner
She's sending a message to homphobes and fundies "You, too, can stick it up your ass." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seems an awful lot of them do just that.... Anymore.. if you see a right wing homophobe.. you have to wonder why SOOO much trying to "PROVE".. that he could not possibly be gay..(or has leanings that way..OR has had experiences before and is guilt riddled about it) OK, you can come out of the closet now, and just admit that you're a hardcore neocon.
