When liberals use the term 'less fortunate', visions of children with Down's syndrome or cerebal palsy don't pop into their heads. When was the last time that you saw a person with those problems not being taken care of by family or charity?

    I just bought a BMW R1200GSA about 6 wk. ago. I haven't ridden in about 20 yr. and then it was only a 250cc. I thought that I might have bitten off more than I could chew, but I took the MSF course and am starting to really get a feel for the bike. I notice that you go through the same type learning curve as skydiving. A whole lot of shit is coming at you really fast and you have to make life saving decisions. My biggest fear was/is entering flowing traffic from a side street.

    It would appear that the Presidents actions in the Mid East >and his policies are working. Of course. From a Bush supporter's perspective: Iran has no nuclear weapons - Bush's policies are working. Iran has nuclear weapons - Bush was right about Iran. Violence in Iraq goes up - Bush was right about "drawing in the terrorists" so we don't have to fight them here. Violence in Iraq goes down - Bush was right about the surge. Venezuela votes for changes to their constitution - Bush was right about Chavez. Venezuela votes against changes to their constitution - Bush's plan is working. It beats the left hand spin that comes from Congress. The surge won't work. The surge isn't working. The war is lost.

If you valued spiritual development then you would know that humility, love, honesty, charity, reverence, peace, transparency, and joy are some of the characteristics manifested by those who do. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would say that more people have been killed in the 20th century by regimes who claim that there is no god than by all religions put together.
