Yeras ago on a skiing holiday I'm told I (sleep) walked into the apartment across the hall from ours, pissed in the sink, then tried to get into bed with one of the people sleeping in there. And it wasn't even a woman. This was recounted to my friends at breakfast the next day after the dudes whose apartment it was had asked me if I was allright this morning? Apart from monumentally hungover I was like WTF? I refused to believe it but the look on the two guys whose apartment it was kind of convinced me, as did my friend who pointed out why would they make this up? That would have to rank as one of my most embarassing moments, luckily I don't remember any of it. I've also cut a telephone wire in my sleep when I was younger, the ringing used to piss me off. but what do I know

I agree its a great read, best descriptions of India or more exactly its people and 'indianess' (??) that I've read, put me back there. Did wonder as with all 'true stories' how faithful it is (think James Frey..) and it could of been 100 pages shorter toward the end but definitely worth reading. but what do I know

You don't need to know what it felt to see it didn't look like a content kitty in the plane. You don't need to know what it thought to see it struggling in the door. Would a TM take a human if they were freaking out that much? I don't get all these people taking dogs cats chickens skydiving. There's an Australian dude who takes his mice surfing. No need to shoot the skydiver, live and let live. He'll probably come back as a mouse. Karma is not a bitch. Gotta go, my elephant is late for its ballet class. but what do I know
