Canon kit from the USA won't come with a valid european repair/replacement warranty and would need to go back to the states if you wanted anything done under guarantee. but what do I know

I thought that might be your inspiration for the music. Just watched it all and I liked it, made me want to go jump. What airtwardo and phreezone said. Less is more, learn the rules before you break them, you look to be doing that. If you're going to be editing profesionally you'll be spending a LOT of time hunched over a computer. From bitter experience take some time to make sure your workstation set up as ergonomically as possible and take frequent screen breaks. Even when working look away to keep your eyes from going square. Keep it up!! but what do I know

I know what you're saying and mostly agree but have to pull you up on this one. Have you not noticed that America has rather overtaken the good old beeb when it comes to drama series? The budgets probably have several more noughts on the end which helps but - UK USA Casualty ER The Bill The Wire et al etc etc I don't watch a lot of TV but if I do I know which of the above I'd rather be watching. but what do I know

I agree with shropshire - dog food. In fact we used to feet it to our dog. The smell of it defrosting was rank can't imagine eating it, but each to their own. Probably better for you than most fast foods. but what do I know

I was told by a photographer friend of mine who tests kit for Canon (so maybe only applies to Canon) that there's no change in quality once you get to 200 ISO and lower, so if you're shooting at 80 or 100 ISO specifically to eradicate digital noise you might as well use 200 ISO and gain an f stop, if you want it. but what do I know

Do tell..... Led a tracking dive to somewhere we didn't have a lot of hope making it back from. 2 did, 4 landed off including me so we all got a day on the ground to think about what we'd done . Sends the wrong message IMHO only grounding those that landed off but not going to argue with the CCI. I learnt more than one lesson from it so all good. I think more important than when did you last jump - when's the next one? enjoy!!

I was in Oz less than 4 months and I found my sentences rising alarmingly at the end. Like everything you say is a question? I don't think it's cool (the accent) bit I can see why people move there. Not for me for reasons other than the accent. Good luck enjoy life
