Might be a generational thing. Almost none of my relatives or friends in my parents generation or above drink, but they all smoke like crazy (my parents excluded)... That being said, the same does not hold true for my Irish-American friends of any generation or any my Irish friends around my age, we definately make up for it in alcohol consumption.

I know plenty of people who don't drink for religious reasons (mostly Irish Catholics) but smoke up a storm.

Not sure how rawhide feels, but for me it is impossible to sit on a wool rug for more than a few minutes. I had a lovely one, but it was so itchy, and I am a floor sitter, so it had to go. But if you don't plan on sitting on the floor, go with which ever looks best to you.

I enjoyed The Rule of Four, but it is fiction...

I loved it too and had the same question. THe NBC site just says that she "discovers her mirror image has a secret". Guess it will become clearer as we go along!
-
Guess I should have googled it first. A couple of site do have "stay" and not stray. Sorry!

Saw an interview when the song came out first where she said she asked her families permission/okay to put it in the CD because the song dealt with her relationship with her father. Guess they had a rough one. PS, I think the correct lyric is I never stray to far from the sidewalk.

At my house it is the bird that hears/sees everyone pull up. She lets out a very particular squawk and the dogs go nuts. She loves it and occasionally, when she is feeling evil I think, she will do it even if there is no one coming in. She'll then just sit there watching the dogs run around looking every where for their visitor, only to be disappointed when no one shows up. You can almost see the satisfied look on her face.

You might also want to check the "fresh soil" you used to replant them. I have been unlucky enough to get a few infested batches.

Think I'm still trying to find it, though if I had to chose now, I'd say some combination of travel and photography.

Studio 60 ... so what did you think of the Pilot?
irisheyes replied to NWFlyer's topic in The Bonfire
I love all of Aaron Sorkin's work too, and was so looking forward to Studio 60, but it just did not have the quick wit/intelligent banter or spark that Sports Night, WW, etc. had. But I did like the connection between Matthew Perry's and Bradley Whitford's character. Hopefully it will get better as it goes along... -
Did not see mine on there - raw chicken - but I suppose carnophobia (fear of meat) is close enough.

Mark, My sincere condolences to you, Reed's family and friends. Carol

I was in class at law school. A friend of mine, who knew my sister worked by the Pentagon, came to get me to let me know what was going on. Most everyone went home straight away. I spent the rest of the day desperately trying to get in touch with my sister or any one who may have seen her that day. Finally talked to her at close to 8pm. Very sad and scary day.
