Cool, wet and damp I'd take (I grew up in Ireland, so it would feel like home), but definitely not flash floods!! Good luck with that! And, thanks for the coffee!

Morning!! And don't feel too bad about your weather...ours is just as bad in another way, we're actually already under a heat advisory (I'm about 4 hours south of SARLDO). And with humidity this thick, it can be hard to breath when you are outside. Hope you get to enjoy some of the day outside!! Love this thread by the way, I usually lurk early every morning!

Try calling the local bar association in West Palm. Most bar associations have lawyer referral services. Good luck!

I stayed in Teton Village which is at the entrance to Grant Teton National park and was great to base from which to explore GTNP, Jackson Hole and the southern part of Yellowstone. I also made it up to the northern part of the park from there to. But, if I go again, I'd probably stay a two to three of nights in Teton Village, and then move up to the north entrance of the park in Montana for a couple of nights and then back to Teton Village again. A lot of moving from hotel to hotel, but a whole lot less backtracking when you are exploring the parks. You'd be surprised how massive Yellowstone actually is. There are four main entrances to Yellowstone, North, South, East and West, and, hotels in the little towns outside the entrances. There are also hotels in the park, but they were pricier and more crowded. I was surprised how much there was to do outside the parks too. If you are considering a trip, PM me and I'd be happy to give you some other pointers and some useful links in planning your trip. It really is well worth visit!!

I spent a week there at the end of May last year and it was the perfect time. All the roads were open (some roads are closed from October/November through May due to snow), the weather was beautiful, and there were not too many tourists because it was not quite high season yet. Grand Teton National Park is just south of Yellowstone and is amazingly beautiful too. I thought the week would be too much time there, but I wish I had had a longer amount of time to explore. I'm going to try to go the same time this year again, but not sure I'll make it yet.

I second the suggestion to check out the Rotary club program! -
I've taken it and it is not that bad at all. I picked up a book in Barnes and Noble but I can't remember which one off hand. I studied for a few days before hand and that was about it. It is a test of logic and reading comprehension. I'm not a sadist or anything, but I sort of enjoyed the test. It was fun working though all the puzzles. There are several prep courses available, but before you sign up for one, pick up a book with a sample test in it and see how well you do on it. Study for a week and take another test to see how much you improve on your own. Good luck and don't stress!!!

Sorry, meant that the shape is not that noticible if you pick the right colors!

I have the 32 almost completely full and I've only had it a month. I transferred everything I had on my old iPod and have been downloading a lot of podcast videos too. I say go for the 32 if you can!

My mom has arthritis in her feet and swears by them. And, depending on the colors you choose, some look just like regular runners.

Depends on what you are looking for. Savannah would be my pick tough. Easy to get around. Plenty to see and do, plus it is on the way, Atlanta would be about a 3 hour detour each way. What are you interested in seeing?

Emie definitely has your eyes and coloring, I can't tell about the rest yet though. I think you look a lot like you dad, I never noticed it until you pointed it out here. And Corey looks like he has his mom's smile, maybe? Me...I am the image of my maternal grandfather from what I'm told. Since I never met him I can't say myself, but those who knew him claim I'm his reincarnation. When I was born, my mom's first comment was that I looked just like her father. I did find an old tin photo of him as a child one time, back when little boys had longer hair (around the turn of the last century). At first, I thought it was me in one of those fake old fashioned pictures but I could not remember having it taken. When I asked my mom about it, I was surprised to find out it wasn't me.

Very cool!!! Thanks for all the info.

That was my first thought too. Then I began to worry about it being poisonous...you never know in SW Florida! Now I can go back to thinking its cute again!

It sort of does, doesn't it?

I've seen a few of these threads on dz.com in the past and know you guys can be pretty good at identifying strange creatures. So, can any of you tell me what this is? It is about the size of a nickel and the black part at the bottom is the head (I think). It looks more like a tiny crab to me than a spider, but, it has spun a web. I think there may actually be two of them living in the same web. I've googled all sorts of descriptions. Maybe it is just that my googling skills are not up to par, but, I just can't seem to figure it out!

This is seeming more and more like a promising option. It's funny, I'd never heard of it before my doc recommended it last week. Thanks for the response!
