I have only watched NASCAR myself when nothing else caught my eye on the tube. I consider myself to be more of a libertarian,and love the massive,loud,and violent horse power seen only in drag racing. Not saying all libertarian's are 1/4 mile fans. I know alot of liberals from the PDX area,and they all hate NASCAR and ridicule it. I also like a good latte,but am also very content with a good old black brewed cup of mud as well. I also will gladly swill down coors light or a fine IPA with equal relish, and believe a $12 dollar bottle of wine is as good as any $50 wine.

I watched some liberals on Piers Morgan recently expressing how they felt NASCAR's image and popularity could suffer from embracing the NRA's sponsorship of the 500 race at the Texas motor speedway. I'm more of a 1/4 mile guy myself, but I know alot of NASCAR fans,and I had to laugh at the notion of a NASCAR fan who might be offended or put off by the NRA and NASCAR teaming up. NASCAR fans that I know,like to own guns,like large guns,like large capacity magazines for their guns,love to shoot their high capacity large guns,ect. I could be wrong,but I don't think there would be very many liberals who are NASCAR fans, so hearing these folks bitch, and express all that indignation, was quite amusing to me. I usually do not follow NASCAR,but now think I might start watching more of it,and I would love to get an NRA 500 t-shirt.

I am for gay rights,reproductive rights and equal rights across the board. I'm for socialized health care,but not the way they are going about it at present. So would you call me very,very hard right? I'm not right or left. Yet I can see that the mainstream media is like a hard left liberal propaganda machine. I also see the present federal government trying to becoming a socialistic nanny state,in which inividuals rights are being cast aside so that the nanny state government can better control us, for our own good. I don't know about you,but I don't like anyone telling me how I should act,think or live. How do you think an all powerful nanny state government would treat skydiving eh? The propaganda and fear mongering that the leftist politicians and their propaganda machine (what they call mainstream media) spews out,should insult anyone with half a brain cell and an inkling of objectivity,unless they are in on the scam themselves.

You notice the liberal media is now attacking Boehner for saying "Ass" and are cranking up their liberal indignation,yet Maxine Waters pulls a bullshit and impossible number like 170 million jobs out of her ASS and they fail to spotlight it, or show any indignation at all to an obviously false statement. Liberal media journalism and objective journalism do not seem to go together. The liberal media seems more like a leftist state run propaganda machine than an objective journalistic entity.

So you admit that claiming Hitler was a conservative is a very stupid statement? The nazis were national socialist. National socialism encouraged strict government control of business and the nationalization of banks and health care. Sounds pretty liberal by american standards. Hitler wanted gun control and also as much personal information as he could get about the citizens under his rule. Conservatives promote gun ownership and the protection of individual rights like privacy,along with little if any government intervention in business or banking. It seems like hard left liberals are alot like nazis. I personally do not like hard left or hard right. -

Good chance Maxine Waters and Al Sharpton hangout together. Hitler had some very extremist ideas and philosophies which I would not consider conservative. When he came to power he took control of business and industry which is what dictators do. He felt that the rights of the individual citizens should be forfeit for the benefit of the reich,and he being the supreme leader knew what was best for everyone. Sounds more liberal than conservative.Kinda like banning 2 litre jugs of soda and the serving of pitchers of margaritas in new york. -
