i'll play: back in march i was in a rush , they had made the "head to the plane now" call, and i put my Viso on before my rig. i caught my Viso on the shoulder strap while putting the rig on. the casing broke apart and wouldn't snap back together. i emailed L&B asking about repairs Mads replied to send it to them and they'd fix or replace it at no cost. they didn't even ask me to cover return postage. all around a great experience. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

if you're fortunate to be able to afford new. getting a new, built to fit, harness/ conatiner is a good idea. that way, unless you plan on bulking up in the future like Cartman in that 1 Southpark episode, you'll have a container that fits right that will last you quite awhile and that you can use to put used canopies and downsize in as you gain experience. just my .25 cents diamonds are a dawgs best friend

use the reward you'll get yourself for getting it done as motivation. reward ideas: extra jumps, dinner at a new nice resturant, a bottle of top shelf (instert favorite alcohol here), or a new CD or pair of shoes. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

Using contact lens while jumping

i've worn hard contacts for 16 years. when i started jumping i used goggles now i use a full face helmet. i haven't had any issues with my contacts. i do make sure to close my face shield before boarding in case i have to wait a second on the stairs in the prop wash for others to get in the plane. and 1 time i got some dust blown in my eyes after landing which made for a tearful, blurry walk back but i always have solution with me. so a little removal and rewetting and i was good to go for the next load. diamonds are a dawgs best friend -

according to the DZ data base on here, there are only 3 that have AFF training. so you may be limited by proximity. in the end it's your decision but i'd suggest you contact the DZs that offer AFF and ask lots of questions, better yet go out and visit them. they'll be more than glad to discuss thier training programs with you. blue skies and good luck. diamonds are a dawgs best friend
