    I'm not sure what that means, so I'll just say, I'm sorry for your frustration! Sometimes I find it helps to scream "FUCK!!!!" really, really loudly.

    Don't still have the outfit...I wonder what I did with it? No, Todd's defininately gay. His way of telling me was calling me to let me know he'd met the love of his life online--and that the new love was leaving his wife and children so that they could be together. By then, I'd pretty much suspected it, and had given numerous hints that it would make no difference to me at all. He waited a long time before coming out, but then he went ALL out!!

    Oh, and thanks, Rosa, for starting this thread. My daughter got such a kick out of sorting through my 80's shots. She said, "Mom, I LOVE you!!!" She always says that when she thinks I'm being a "cool" mom. Funny thing is, a lot of what I used to wear is now back in style, and she's sporting it!!

    It was fake fur bought at Kmart or somewhere....we sewed them by hand like an hour before the party. ' At the time I thought I looked like a great big cow in it!!! But thanks for the compliment......20 years retroactively.

    ok, I know it's not all about me, but I couldn't resist two more. What was I thinking with the mustard yellow dress? And the other one is me and my boa constrictor "Cuddles" in my dorm room at college. Notice the Jermaine Jackson poster on the wall behind me. I always liked the strange ones...Bowie, Flock of Seagulls, Jermain & LaToya Jackson, Boy George, Devo....

    okay, I realized tonight while looking through pics that I partied a LOT in the 80's..... I'm a loser with no scanner, so I just had to take pics of the pics . Black&white dress-in my way to a Janet Jackson contest at the Forum in CA Fur dress--frat party at college with my best friend Todd, who I thought was secretly in love with me but who turned out to be interested in the other team.

    This is incorrect, but a common misperception. If you receive goods or services for any donation, it is not tax deductible. You can claim it, but if you get audited, it will not fly.

    The several comments like this make me laugh. I haven't read one post yet where it sounds like anyone is saying they're star struck or holding a celebrity as "more valuable." Maybe we analyze things a little too closely sometimes. I never intimated that I was more impressed by a person because of their 'fame', nor has anyone else. Don't make it more than it is.
