no. it was about a double terror attack we had here last night which killed a lot of people. and among the relevant replies there was one saying something like "ban all muslims" or worse, but i dont remember the exact words, i kinda ignored them. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

if so, the people who made those remarks should be warned, or even banned as far as i'm concerned. i don't expect the greenies to go over every reply and remove the offensive ones, but deleting the whole thread (especially an important one (at least to some)) seems rude and heartless. sorry if i'm being touchy, rough times... got a notification that someone has replied to one of my posts by email. when i tried to open it all i got is " does it mean the post was deleted? i wonder why would anyone delete a post expressing pain over the loss of 15 people in terror attacks. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

i got electrecuted twice. once while fixing a telephone line (note: don't put telephone lines in your mouth, the buzz goes straight to your brain...) second time was while fixing a monitor, while it was plugged in... some engineer i am thinking back on it, i think i kinda enjoyed it... got some on my hand once in a lab, NOT FUN. can only imagine how boobies react O O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

just a couple of engineers who slept during their studies... since the grids are connected, they can handle minor problems but major overloads can cause a domino effect. there was a major blackout in the 60's when a primary line relays to NYC failed and the power that had been flowing toward New York City had to go elswhere, instantly. everybody got it, and microsoft's patch was issued about a month ago. but as usual, no one updates until systems start to crash... btw, my zonealarm blocked it (until i foolishly shut it down to do something else...) sadly, now clones will start to appear, and usually they are smarter than the original O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
