  1. Just a few minutes ago I caught a few fireflies and let them go. It was fun.
  2. Yeah, it wouldn't be so fun if any of these were actually aimed at me. Matt
  3. Yup. 'Nuff said. Matt
  4. One nipple is hairier than the other. Matt
  5. Those ears and the coloring remind me of gremlins. Remember that horrible movie? But the pup is much cuter. I love mixed breeds.
  6. The past several Independence Days I've lived in fairly large cities where the cops seriously crack down on fireworks. Now I live in some relative boonies, and the word on the street is fireworks are technically illegal, but the cops generally let it slide as long as nothing gets burnt down. Every night it's getting noisier and noisier around here and I love it!

    Peanut Butter

Peanut butter and honey on toast with slices of apple.

    Peanut Butter

I'll accept the dare and will try it as soon as I have some honey in the kitchen again.
  9. Yep. Moschen's the best. Did you know he and Penn Gillette (sp?) were childhood buddies and learned to juggle together? Weird. Matt

    Peanut Butter

Ok, now that's just gross. Matt

    Peanut Butter

I've often wondered the same thing about honey. How is it possible that foodstuffs can remain at room temperature for days and weeks but not spoil? What is in these things that bacteria won't eat? How can it possibly be good for me if bacteria is afraid to touch it? Peanut butter and honey....mmmmm....
  12. I'm with you on this one. I go out of my way to avoid learning how an illusion is done because removing the mystery takes away from the performance. Penn and Teller are hilarious but I'm usually more disappointed than impressed when they spill the beans. Similarly, experience with juggling leads to a diminished appreciation of the "hand is quicker than the eye" type of tricks. If an illusion depends on manual dexterity I can often spot how it's done even if I don't want to. Matt
  13. I don't know what you people are talking about. These are great movies! I learned a lot from watching them. Once I get just a few more jumps under my belt I intend to start calling myself "Swoop" and refuse to talk to anybody who hasn't jumped with me.
  14. What a way to go! Kinda horrific from the bees' perspective. For that matter, kinda horrific from the ants' perspective that immediately after their epic battle and glorious victory over such gargantuan foes, they're casually exterminated through chemical warfare. I wage a constant battle against spiders outside my apartment. My place is right on the water so bugs of all sorts love it, but it's the huge ugly spiders that seem to be at the top of the food chain. Spraying keeps their numbers down for a week or two. Your morning view is beautiful.
  15. NSFW, but very funny.

    My new toy...

    Cute little car.
  17. If you can't fart while on the shitter, then please tell me where can you fart? Ummm, how is it physically possible to not fart while using the shitter? I mean, the shit/fart separator valve is usually used to allow farts and deny shits until you're actually on the shitter. shit fart shit fart shit fart etc...
  18. Iced tea is iced tea, dammit! If I wanted peach tea or raspberry tea or lemon tea I would ask for it. (Lemon tea is usually ok, but it's still irritating when I ordered iced tea.) If I want sweet tea I'll add the sugar myself. It's tea, chilled, with ice. How hard can that be? Matt
  19. Rodeo Poker! What could possibly go wrong? (again, drinking = no search, sorry) "It never crossed my mind that there would be any danger involved. Especially if they asked for volunteers from the audience." I always thought that was called Mexican poker. Don't play if you can't run. Matt
  20. NSFW Dumb ass kid eats cow crap NSFW "What's it taste like?" "Shit." (this might not be considered entertainment) Matt
  21. No. You entertain me. Matt
  22. I don't know how to determine the date of the photo, but I do know that the images are updated periodically. The first time I looked up my home, I thought "Oh. That's neat." About 3 months later I looked it up again and my car had magically appeared in the driveway! Matt
  23. That is extremely cool! Greyish/bluish canopy with one cell a lighter color.
