  1. What about those sailor uniforms??? They are white, and definately do it for me!! (as well as marine, army, airforce, national guard, firemen, cops, park rangers, etc, etc, etc...you get the picture...) Sometimes, just a regular old work uniform does it for me. Guess I've got it bad!! To borrow a line from Squeak...MY LIFE ROCKS!! HOW'S YOURS??!!!
  2. So, back in the early 90's, I'm a big BYU fan, Ty Detmer and Mark Brunell were both big pre-season Heisman hopefulls, and my brothers and I loved arguing football. My family are all Univ of WA fans, and Brunell was their starter. We were at the Goodwill Games in Tacoma, WA, in Aug, and my brothers and I were going back and forth who was better, who would win the Heisman, on and on. I remember saying some NOT VERY NICE things about Brunell. After we had been going on for 15 min. or so, this guy sitting in front of us (had been there the whole time), turned around and stuck his hand out to me and said "Hi, I'm Mark Brunell." WTF...of all the people in the world that could of been sitting in front of me...it was him!!! What are the odds of that??? Now, I would have thought he was bull shittin' me, except the shocked looks on my brothers faces. When they started pulling out paper and pens to get an autograph, I knew I had stuck my foot in my mouth like never before. Just to remind all...Detmer won the Heisman that year...so I WAS right!!! (But Brunell has had a better NFL career!!) I met Ty Detmer several years after this happened (mutual friend), and told him what I did, and he got a kick out of it!! 4. I LOVE little smokies! You can buy them in bulk @ Costco, or in the grocery. Just heat them up in a bottle of your favorite bbq sauce (anything mesquite flavored - especially the Jack Daniels Mesquite BBQ sauce). They are fantastic, serve in a big bowl with toothpicks!! 5. The only thing I'd suggest is going to Skydive Ogden instead. It's my home DZ, I live in Orem. I started there...and really LOVE them! Brian was my Jump Master, and Suzanne is really a sweetie! PM me for more info!!
  6. Hi! I am new here too! I just finished my AFF at Skydive Mesquite this past weekend! Brad (the owner) is a great guy! I've jumped there twice now. We drove down from Utah, and were visiting Vegas once and rented a car (pretty cheap too) and drove to Mesquite, about an hour. Well worth the trip. I'd recommend going there! Brad's website has his phone # and info. It's www.skydivemesquite.com. Hope this helps!
  7. Thanks!! I noticed you're a "rodriguez bro!" Cool! I've heard rumors about there being bumpy brothers...where can I find out more about that?? To borrow a line from Squeak...MY LIFE ROCKS!! HOW'S YOURS??!!!
