The lawyer who decided not to prosecute said he made that decision because there wasn't enough evidence to ensure a conviction. He didn't say that there wasn't anything to prosecute, or that a crime was not committed. Either way, I don't think the guy should have prosecuted in the first place. However, it shows the level of slimy deception endemic in the Trump campaign that he and Trump both continued to lie about what happened even after the video surfaced. - Dan G

Everything is cooler with rockets. I doubt it. To have the kind of flight time and thrust control the video purports to show, I think they'd need to be using liquid fueled rocket engines, which are not trivial to make and control. It might be possible with low pressure solids (also technically challenging), but then thrust control gets a lot harder. - Dan G

I recently vacationed in Costa Rica. Most of the bathrooms had a toilet only in a small room. The sinks were outside in a public area. Some places had a separate urinal area like DJL suggested. It seemed to be a perfect set-up for many reasons, none of which had anything to do with transgendered people. - Dan G

No, the new law would allow Chester the Molester to walk into a ladies room. Under the new law, transgendered men (start out as women) would need to use the ladies room. You'll have situations where a person who looks like a man will be required to use the ladies room. Women will have to get used to people who appear to be men going into their bathrooms. Without this law, a person who appears to be a man would be expected to use the men's room. Think it through a little more, and you'll see that this law will make it more uncomfortable in the restroom, not less. - Dan G

I'm having trouble imagining a scenario where this law will prevent a sexual predator from preying on anyone. If a man is intending on going into a bathroom to rape a woman, do you think he's going to stop because of this law? Can you give me an honest example of how this law is going to prevent any crime? - Dan G

What is the real concern? It is a made up problem. What is really telling in this law is that it bars localities from passing local anti-discrimination laws. How can anyone seriously claim this law isn't discriminatory when the law does that? - Dan G

If it is only about consequences, the drunk driving should be legal. It should only be illegal if you hurt someone else. If, on the other hand, it is about potential consequences (like drunk driving laws) then obviously sex should be illegal unless you are prepared mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially to case for a child. You would, of course, have to get screened for these things by the courts or local law enforcement. That's really the only logical result of your stance. No, of course not. Don't be silly. - Dan G

Drinking and posting again? There are many, many examples of Trump encouraging people to be violent. You know this, I don't feel the need to repeat them again.
