Trolling, trolling, trolling... - Dan G

Yes, I'm sure that's why a person who has been living as a man for ten years wants to use the men's room. Just to be arrogant because he can. - Dan G

If this guy actually believed everything he says he should logically think Snowden is a government stooge. Why would Snowden release information about the NSA wiretapping program, but not release information about aliens, time travel, and teleportation? Because he's a government shill, obviously. - Dan G

Relevant portion of the Constitution (as amended): Clear as mud, right? - Dan G

The real problem with the poll is that the third choice is in French. It is obviously a trap to catch those liberal elites who speak that pussy-ass language. - Dan G

When you cast a vote for President (November, not primary) you aren't really casting a vote for President. You are casting a vote for Electors, who will go to the Electoral College and represent your state (not you or your vote, your state). The Electors are chosen by the State, and pledge to cast their votes a certain way when they get to the Electoral College. They can change their vote (see Unfaithful Elector). The Constitution gives States wide latitude on how they select their Electors. Voting for President is truly one of the least democratic parts of our representative republic. - Dan G

I'd be on board with a primary system that was simply designed to decide who should be on the ballot in a particular state. It would be a single primary, open to everyone. If Candidate A wanted people to know he/she/it was affiliated with a Party, then fine, but no party affiliation would appear on the primary ballot. Top four or five primary voter-getters would be on the ballot in November. - Dan G

I don't know why this thread is still going. It should have stopped at post #2. - Dan G

You know there's going to be another election in November, right? - Dan G

I agree, but I disagree with the fact that the taxpayers fund these activities as if they were public functions. - Dan G

Good point. Before the ACA insurance premiums weren't rising at all. - Dan G

Yeah, that's what he said. Sheesh. - Dan G

Washington Times? You are joking, right? Times != Post - Dan G

No translation needed. Your posts have become boring, I'm not responding to you anymore. I really just hope you'll go away, but I know that's not going to happen. - Dan G

There was blame placed on the video. And there were many other video related riots around the region that same day. Do you think it is unreasonable for the Administration to assume that this attack was related to all the other attacks that happened sat the same time? And when I say everyone knew it was a terror attack I mean that any attack of this sort is a terror attack. It was intended to create terror. When Clinton e-mailed her family to say that a terror attack occurred it doesn't mean she knew the why, how, and who of the attack. The gun running thing is conjecture as far as I know. If you have a source that backs that up, I'd love to see it. - Dan G

I'm sick of you. If you can't understand the difference between "this happened", and "this happened and here's why" then you are even dumber than you appear. - Dan G
-
Everyone knew it was a terror attack as soon as it happened. Everyone. What they didn't know was whether it was a pre-planned attack, or whether it was a spontaneous attack. I don't expect you to understand the difference. - Dan G

The study reported on in Science Daily had no control. It also only applied to men who already had low bone density. It is the same study you link to from ScienceDirect. The NYT article admits that astronauts lose bone density. It is not clear why, which is why NASA is doing a lot of research on that issue. The Bone and Mineral study is the one discussed in my article. Gains were very small. I must commend you, however, for claiming that "my" study was fatally flawed, and then linking to the very same study to prove it. Excellent post-fu. - Dan G

Too easy. You had me at "Georgia". - Dan G

What a load of horseshit. You're just in reflexive attack mode now. I could say I like your shoes and you'd attack me for it. - Dan G

Actually, there was a recent study that showed that exercise did not have any effect on bone density. Exercise does, however, strengthen the muscles, ligaments, and tendons that support the bones. - Dan G
