  1. Presumably, the Neo-cons hate the Muslim extremists. Who are you with?
  2. It's all those rightwing, NEO-CON, ultra fundie, lush rimjob lovin', vile, evil, hypocritical, pollutin', Constitution stealin', child molestin', election stealin', conservative assholes who are to blame. It's all their fault. I cry myself to sleep just about every night fretting about how the corrupt tyranny of Bush and Co., is destroying our Constitution, our rights, our environment and our way of life, while enabling evil Corporexploitation all around us. Oh, woe.
  3. Why would you believe such a thing. My hero? I had never heard of the guy until this morning. He's a bigwig among Fundamentalist Evangelicals. What have I ever said that would give you the opinion that I'm associated with them? It's easy to just make crap up about people. It's a whole different ballgame accurately sizing them up. Rush Limbaugh has made millions by dishonestly vilifying others. It's too bad such a nasty practice has gone mainstream.
  4. Righto. Yeah, lack of evidence. Something about circumstancial evidence, but nothing more. Are those elusive vote stealers just hiding in plain sight?
  5. No. If they don't investigate, they're negligecting their duties as a US Congressman. And if they're not willing to weather a little criticism, they shouldn't be there in the first place. There are a number of claims of voter fraud in 2000 and 2004. If there were crimes committed, as the numerous websites claim, why haven't they been fully investigated and prosecuted?
  6. And here I thought it was Dean????? Hmmmmm. I think you're confusing "a" with "the". Hmmmmm. HUH? ---> Dean is the head of the Dems, Kerry is the guy who lost the presidential race. So, anyone claiming John Kerry was a high ranking Senator would be incorrect? How about Hillary? Could she be considered a top leader in the Democratic Party?
  7. It does the ultra right no good to try to explain it... Basic Karl Rovian. How did Karl Rove get into this discussion?
  8. A bunch of the ultra right wing beleives this.... Lush Rimjob tells them about it and they have to follow their cult leaders words. While that MAY be true, I don't think many (if any) of those types post on this forum.
  9. But we all know which acts he participated in. nudge, nudge, wink, wink... a little hot tar here... a sack of feathers there... it's all good. And then there's the matter of his accuser failing the polygraph test. I wonder why the accuser didn't come forward a month ago, allowing some time to investigate the validity of his claims. If it's all valid, why the last minute blindside? Hmmm.
  10. I guess we are going to see in this election if the same old propaganda works like it has in the last few elections from the Ultra Right. Are you saying the only reason the military heavily supports the GOP is because of propaganda? Is it possible that the kind of of person who joins the Armed Services (yes, I'm making a generalization here) might be idealogically inclined to support the GOP?
  11. Its called DENIGRATION of those who SERVED and those who are serving.. By Mr Rove.. et al...the right wing holds itself out to be pro military... .. I am sorry but that little homilie of " thank you for serving" does not pay your families bills.. when your right wing chickenhawks send you off to war with substandard equipment.. for the individual troop.... yet they can spend billions with their buddies in the defence industry for all the new technology.. perhaps a little bit of that technology can help to keep you and your buddies alive. ACTIONS boys... ...ACTIONS...not your fucking same old telling what you are going to do for them and never doing it. What does this have to do with why the military heavily supports the GOP or why the Dems can't get a larger share of this voter group?
  12. Here's an interesting article. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A25656-2004Oct11.html It's two years old and I assume Bush's popularity in the military has dropped considerably in that time, but the numbers cited are pretty compelling.
  13. In a way I agree with you. I do think there in these two cases there is a bit of a difference. That difference being that these two people have publicly and vocally denounced the exact things they were found doing.... The priest guy, was a very vocal opponont of anything to do with homosexuality. Next thing you know, turns out he has been paying a guy to have sex with him. From what I've read the claims have been denied by Haggart and the alleged gay lover has failed a polygraph test. I'm wonder about the whole burden of proof aspect.
  14. It seems like Clinton's defenders use this ploy to distract from the topic at hand far more often than his detractors. It's a slick move to cry foul when you or your ally commits the offense.
  15. And here I thought it was Dean????? Hmmmmm. I think you're confusing "a" with "the". Hmmmmm.
  16. Running with the title, but not the OP, WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO TAKE THOSE OBNOXIOUS CANADA GEESE OFF THE ENDANGERED SPECIES LIST????? They have it better than cows in India.
  17. How did Karl Rove get into this discussion? I was wondering the same thing.
  18. If the Republicans are benefitting from these deceptions, which most stories tend to indicate, why aren't the Democrats ranting and railing about this? Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean have no problem criticizing the Republicans for the pettiest of reasons. Why do they remain silent about the possibly having elections stolen by their rivals?
  19. And then there was Christmas in Cambodia...
  20. That photo of Kerry and 19 other Coastal Division 11 Swift boat officers was just another example of his arrogance. "Hey everybody, check me out with my lifelong friends, who I served with in Vietnam." It turned out that the majority of those men opposed his candidacy and only three supported him. Go John go.
  21. Bill, I took you at your word that Boehner said we should blame the generals for what's happening in Iraq. Then I read what he actually said and came away with a completely different read. While it might be easy to infer your claim - especially you're looking hard - the fact is he didn't say it.
