The Bruins seem to have more grit and determination. They're a clang off the post from being up 3-0. They look like the team the Penguins wanted to become.

Posting REAL boogies - Skymama please read.
grimmie replied to goobersnuftda's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Could we have an "Exotic Boogie" forum? Just for the events not being held at a regular DZ. More jumpers are relying on facebook to get their info. Or maybe you can just lock the boogie threads when posters try to keep their event at the top? The far away boogies really take a lot of planning and deposit $$'s to be a success for the jumpers and organizers. We have limited slots usually and overflow hotels fill up quickly with regular tourists, limiting the number of participants. For Palau we only have 80 slots, and they are starting to fill. Maybe we just need Skymama to join us one of these years, like next! -
Paperless Waivers of Liability at your Local DZ?

Thanks, I found a DZ using a new system and they are working out the details. Sounds like a good thing. -
Paperless Waivers of Liability at your Local DZ?
grimmie replied to Mr17Hz's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Do any of you know of drop zones currently using paperless waivers? I'm researching the ease of use and the practicality of it in the real world setting of a busy dz manifest office. How many kiosks, etc. signed, crushed in my small office by thousands of paper tandem waivers -

THE exotic boogie of the decade! www.skydivepalau.com Hosted by Navot Bornovski, Palau businessman and skydiver, in conjunction with Rich Grimm and Tsunami Skydivers. PAC 750 provided by Skydive Guam R66 helicopter jumps! Load organizers, 20 jump package! Great SCUBA rates! The boogie is filling quickly, so Skymama was gracious enough to let me post this in advance. So get your deposit in now! Slots are limited! -

Everyone at my DZ gets a briefing out in the landing area, covering all aspects of our operation, airport operations and what rules they need to follow in the plane, jump run, freefall and canopy flight and landing. The waiver has a check off box for gear, license and LZ briefing. We always ask the jumpers we don't know what size canopy they fly.

Brutal, 2 goals... Go Kings!!!

My refund check was $42. I called him up and said I was going to cash it and put it all on Buttercup in the fourth race at Santa Anita. He laughed and said I would probably make more money on that than running exotic boogies

The Ducks went to crap when he left. Andy was a great player.

One of my favorite people in all of skydiving. Fly Free Mike...

Loose chest strap/Cypres fire.

I hope this jumper learned a very valuable lesseon... THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A ROUTINE SKYDIVE! Anytime we get in the plane for a jump, be it a 300 way, a wingsuit jump, a 2 way or a hop and pop, always remember, gravity rules and don't ever get complacent. Some people have 1,000 jumps. Some people have the same jump 1,000 times. -
The Kings looked great last night. Crawford played tremendous our it would have been 4-1. I can only hope the Penguins are watching and start playing some D first

Run and gun is killing the Pens

Comments concerning a Canopy Licensing System
grimmie replied to MakeItHappen's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Danny Page had been talked to numerous times, Chris Stasky had been talked to numerous times. I'm not sure about the Roger Nelson collision. All the "cool kids" seem to get a pass on the slow down or get out speech. We can't "regulate" our way to a safer canopy situation through USPA. We already have a canopy control course for the B license. THIS CHANGE HAS TO COME FROM DZO's AND JUMPERS THEMSELVES. It's not just the newbies killing themselves under a perfectly good canopy. Take a look at the very high time, very current, very experienced jumpers that have been killed or seriously injured on landing. Until we change our culture at DZ's, nothing much will change, no matter how many rules, regulations, courses, ratings, weigh ins, etc are required. Instead of putting all of the regulation on the skydiver, maybe USPA should put regulation on the DZO's first. It's up to us to set the example for OVERALL safety. IMHO -
The Kings look like the tank is empty

I think they missed a trip on Z right before the goal, which led to a loose puck.

All day long:)

The last four Cup winners left standing. Quick is the best goalie standing. Pens have the best O. Hawks have lots of gunners and balance. Bruins have fate on their side. Game 7 Leafs miracle is still with them.

It better be delivered in person. I have some Belizean rum to ease your sorrow

Wow, we escaped that third period! Quick was unreal. That was an amazing game to watch. Joe P. Will be seeing that glove in his sleep for years
