The USPA has banished a few jumpers to the sin bin in the past. IIRC, the late Pat McGowan was given a game misconduct and had to sit out half a season many moons ago. -

Yes, he was a retired LAFD fireman. He was an all around good guy. He stopped in at the DZ a few months ago to say hi. We laughed a lot about old times and he wanted to get current. He had been battling some health issues. He was on the very first Blue Hole jump in Belize with us in 2005. Fly free my friend...

We had our one year anniversary party today. Geez, that went fast! We celebrated with $20 jumps and an A-Star helicopter for our jumping fun! Thanks to everyone that has supported us and helped make this one pretty cool little DZ! -

Wow. What rig, main and reserve? What kept the reserve in the container? It seems the jumper goes sideways with hands by the reserve handle at deployment. Was the handle pulled or dislodged? AAD fire? I have seen a couple of pop top type rigs get damaged with a partial reserve PC being ripped off by the deploying main at high speed. Fill in the blanks Spot...
