  1. Only testpilot... And if 'thinking like a manufacturer' means, basing my ideas on facts, instead of claims without (so far) proof..than guilty JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  2. Ever seen Tony's demo-fleet? JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  3. Very cool...I remember Henny Wiggers telling me he has suit 005 in his locker somewhere. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  4. Not wanting to take away the Helelluya moment you're apparently experiencing right now, but if the suits needs to be tested to show its performance. Where did the previous claims on fastest suit, beating other suits etc all come from? And what happened to that test data? Surely there must be some level of performance in terms of consistent glide ratio and forward speed (full flight, not diving and measuring peak data) you can quote to have made those initial claims? As you made a rapid 180 from proven concept/working idea in terms of capable performance and fastest suit on the planet to 'Im not sure what this does all' Wishing you good luck with the tests you plan to do. Hope we see some data by 2029 JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  5. Ready 2 Go is the video you are looking for. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  6. What is your point? You have the fastest suit on the planet. Just no way to show that? Than don't disrespect your own work. As NOBODY else made ANY negative comments on your work, designs or performance besides the fact that (much like DSE says) you make claims. But dont state FACTS about what it can do. A simple showing of the data that made your make the initial claims on speed, glide and performance is all it would have taken. But instead, you go into the whole negative atmosphere and put yourself in an unrealistic underdog situation. Can your suit fly amazingly fast, according to previous tests. Than show the test results? Is it flaring speed? full flight? what glide angle? what (sustained) speed? That's the info people want to see and hear, if you are trying to get them to to invest in your product. Jarno Cordia, ill gladly PM you my phone number if that puts any validity on what Im asking? What I say here online, is also what Ill say in real life. But it is enthousiasm and love for flying I see in everyones replies. Not the anger or hate you seem to read into it. I was your greatest supporter initialy. But at some point, you have to realize that people cant keep believing in claims without proof. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  7. Ill do a zpelling updeejt later this week... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  8. I to (though hammering the subject may not make it seem that way) had good hopes for this. But looking up the original email conversations between Boris and PF, even there there is a sudden halt when it comes to showing for real data. Just knowing roughly what is possible (instead of a vague 'its amazing' being all to go by) is all people ask for. The slight belly is currently undergoing construction (downsizing) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  9. blablablabla...no data.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  10. Nobody is judging you, putting you down or doing anything. Merely asking to back up claims with the data you have? I had hoped to see some awesome flight performances proven. You didnt ask. And you never looked...but since you do now, wingsuitcompetition.com was the site where both PF and Tonysuits showed performance data (at competitions) before any real public announcement on suits such as the XS, Stealth2, Xbird etc where shown, or final production models where designed. And even many 'special' prototype suits where even made/flown for those same competitions, never ment for public release. With the flight data also accesable to everyone to see. As its just performance. Results. Not building plans. Every manufacturer you emailed asked you the same question: If we should buy your concept/design, than first show/prove with hard data what it can do? That hard data never came, and you (very public) went into the same 'poor me' defensive stance we see here, and started accusing every manufacturer of evil plans and abusive behaviour. You mention flight data in your videos. Surely that must have shown some glide/speed that you can show without giving away the whole concept. But you seem more interested in being the lone cowboy fighting the big evil cooperations, than actually showing you moved the sport forward a step (as you claim you did). All initial questions where constructive, and serious. But you failed to ever step past 'marketing' and never went into serious discussion. And any reply you post without data (sadly) shows you're most likely never going to be able to prove the amazing quoted performances either... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  11. As much of a troll as Sangi is at times, why should HE be the one to post GPS data. He never claimed he did any wingsuit jumps, not did he claim to be the one who designed, built and flew the fastest suit on the planet. Looking at wingsuitcompetition.com the fastest score 281.88 km/h (Robert Pecknic) in a V3 The Giboline is quoted at 240 km/h (without evidence to back it up). Even there its not the fastest suit around. Looking at the scores, it seems there is even a Blade, Phantom and V2 that fly faster Ive seen the question asked over a dozen times. So once more.. Wil there ever be any actual proof of the performance? Or will empty quotes, secret books distributed to VIPs and awesome marketing videos and rage aimed at wingsuit manufacturers for not buying claims that are not backed up by data be all we will even see coming from this? JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  12. Great to see you so active on this one.. Looking forward to seeing the flight data. The suit looked nice in videos. Definately a cool project! Just give a shout if there is anything to show for wingsuitnews.com again! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  13. Brought a tear to my eye....(must have missed seeing the GPS data because of that) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  14. Here is Gibolin via Google Translate (for a few people in the rest of the world that dont speak French) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  15. It only requires one thing. Post some actual proof of performance..that doesnt seem like a big thing to ask? If I say my team was the best in Italy at the competition> the video is online If I say I scored last in marl> The GPS track is online. If you want people to believe in something. Maybe show them something. And dont stop at a marketing trailer without GPS data. Why? You have all the data already? Thats been said several times? Just show one full jump log/track. Not body positions, materials, method or skill. I know PF and FlyYourBody where interested in what you had to say, but neither ever got any actual information on your regarding performance. A GPS track. Or other aquired data. Some quotes on flares and dives where all that was mentioned. Buy first, see what you're getting later is not a popular sales method... Nobody asked for HOW you got to the performances you talk about. They just want to see WHAT you did. Performance wise. No secrets. Just raw numbers. Full flight> Full jump> Data...so not quoting peak performance. but constant performance, exit till opening. Fighting the big bad cooperations all the way... It may be a secret, but most wingsuit manufacturers are not driving a ferarri, dont have 4 houses, and 6 private jets. Its a small niche business. But if you have anything to sell (like> showing WHAT the idea you are selling is capable of) I have no doubt people will bite. But you never showed anything.. You scream about evil cooperations and people rediculing you...there is one quick, awesome solution: Go into your cellar. Unlock the big box of secret performance data and upload a GPS track (you mention this data in the videos) to trackderby or wingsuitcompetition.com Your suit should be number 1 instantly if what you say is true. And it would be compared to the best suits and pilots and good and bad flying conditions worldwide. And it would show that you are right..and everyone else is wrong. Which reads as> I cant prove it with numbers or anyone watching..so leave me alone. Again..its a GREAT thing you did. But YOU are the one holding this back. Not the evil cooperations or MIB. With current day wingsuits flying roughly double the performance of what Patricks initial design was capable of, I dont think the evil cooperations are doing that bad either JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  16. protrack tells you everything, except the forward speed and glide ratio that this is all about JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  17. thanx for all the compliments. And any typos, changes or additional (better) footage you may have, is always welcome. So just shoot me a PM or email with anything you have. Will fix these typos monday/tuesday (non native speaker..so Im allowed my f*kups I think) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

  19. Hi everyone, We just finished the first in a new series of FlyLikeBrick flight manuals. This time its about dealing with instability in a wingsuit, and the several steps possible in terms of recovery. You can see the video on our website, or embed/watch it via our Vimeo account. Enjoy! The next 2 planned FLB flight manuals are about High Speed Exits, Pull (body)position and advanced backflying techniques. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  20. Its quite funny to hear those comments on clogs. As (when proper sized) they are quite comfy, and easy to walk, run and do anything with. Although I dont live in a windmill or eats tulips for breakfast, I did wear clogs a lot as a kid. Old wives tales and urban legends...one day you will discover the real clog! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  21. They are called clogs...and where the first ever safety shoes... If you get stuck in the mud while milking cows, you can just step out of them. And if a cow steps on em, it doesnt hurt your feet Awesome shoes! Ill see if my booties fit a pair of clogs next time JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  22. Aside from 'lets hope for good weather' no significant news. We so far have 85 registrations, so we will be taking off with a shitload of balloons. exit altitude will be 6500 as things look right now. Its gonna be fun! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  23. The headband, comes with a plactic cup, which you attach the camera to. Like the front of one of the head-band flashlights. You cut the strap that goes around the head shorter, so its just the size of your ankle. Another thing that works well> take a hot needle, and burn some holes into one of the plastic mounts. Than sew that to a strap/ankle mount. The GoPro is easy to use, and the mounts are plastic, so they break easy. But a lot of people now start to use metal bolts, and heavy equipment to fix the camera to their head or body. You want something that breaks away in case of heavy stress. 24. The Acro is no longer available, and is replaced by the shadow, as mentioned before. This will all be on the new website...close..close JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  25. Someone get out of bed with the wrong foot? There are no 'amazing marketing terms' but purely a description on the differences between the acro and shadow. A lot more foreward speed. Im flying one myself, and have for a long time. And everyone who has, will stand by those 'marketing claims'. Its a wonderfull, small, fast and agile wingsuit. I have no clue how skinny basejumping vegitarians come into play, but looking forward to seeing you post the same rant in the other 20 threads on the front page of the wingsuit forum, marketing suits with a lot of additional bang, pop, wham and amazing performance...
