  2. Hi Kev, Sorry to have not recognized you until now. I actually talked to you a little, i was on the "FUN" team, Allen Flynn's blue team. I never got to see the vid of the CReW swoop, but saw it from the ground and as I told you there, it rocked! Thanks for the 2 of you showing up. See ya again next year! Conway
  3. I got the NSCR on my second night jump! I saw part of the video from your HSCR on the main TV that afternoon. Cool! I have already acheived all the RW awards, just didn't care to send them in. I think those awards are good goals for newer jumpers to achieve though.

  7. Hi Everybody! It's official. THE NEW TEXAS STATE RECORD IS A 125-WAY! It was completed on the first jump Sunday morning (Jump 13 of 15). We want to thank everyone that helped make this event successful. It's not just the jumpers, organizers and pilots that made it all happen, it takes a lot of volunteers, and ground crew to support an event of this magnitude. There are so many people to thank, that we can't list them all here. We want each of you to know that we genuinely appreciate you. There are a couple of people who went above and beyond, and deserve a special mention. Bobby Bishop came out at 11:00 PM on Saturday night to work on one of the Casas so that we'd have enough lift capacity to finish the event. Susan Leigh was here from sun up to sun down organizing all the volunteers. CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! Jack Berke and Steve Boyd have already agreed to host another Texas State Record Attempt next year at Skydive Spaceland. We got a lot of emails asking how the record attempts were going, so I thought I'd send this out to everyone on our regular email list, and the TSR Team List. (So, some of you may get two copies.) 12. Blue skies, fly forever free our brother! Peace be with the family in this time of sorrow and anguish knowing that Pops left doing what he loved. Peace brother, fly on golden wings. Conway Hall
  13. Spaceland went from 18-20 when the fuel prices jacked up out of site and they only discount 1 weekday to 15. Block tickets went up 3 for me. They also charge 2% for credit card charges no matter the card used. My company gets charged from 2.9% visa and mc to almost 4% for check cards! When I sell wholesale, I charge back.
  14. Scenario, My old teammate lived in Houston, worked/stayed in Corpus Mon-Fri and so would only jump one day a weekend to appease his wife. Now they have moved to Corpus and he still comes back to H-town once a weekend to jump.
  15. To the end of this, I don't think they you are extendind anything in this thread, move on.
