  2. Is this somebody specific? or do you mean have we received an e-mail from any Big Booty Hoe?
  3. If this is the first dislocation you have had you definitely need to see a doctor. Both of my shoulders crick. I had them x-rayed a few years back and found bone fragments in the shoulder joints. I decided to leave them and deal with the cricking. As long as I lift weights regularly and keep the shoulder muscles strong I don't have problems with the shoulder dislocating. Luckily there were no tendon problems. Shoulder joints are almost as bad as knee joints when it comes to causing problems. You could have no problems right now and then in ten years BAM! they go out on ya! 4. I want to attach (sewing, velcro, etc) my hook knife to my container in some fashion because I always forget to put it on my chest strap. I would like some opinions on where to attach it and how to attach it to my container. I have a pouch that is designed to have a strap threaded through it. The hookknife is attached to the pouch by a snap. I would also like to hear recommendations on where it is easiest to locate when needed. My feelings are that it is probably better to have it around the waist area because it is easier to see and easier to remove from the pouch (assuming you don't wear the pouch upside down). It would also tend to be in the same place whether you are under an open main, reserve, or hanging upside down from the step of a Cessna. Thanks for your feedback in advance. 5. Why, is there a story you would like to share with the rest of us? "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."
  6. Agreed, there are certain "exceptions".
  7. :0:0 Not a bad weekend. I was in Halojmpr's wedding, planted a vegetable garden for my wife, made homemade icecream, and grilled baby back ribs with my special sauce for the family. I packed my parachute just so I could say I did something skydiving related this weekend. "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."
  8. Thanks for the story. Very true and also, harder than it sounds with all of the stupid people I work with. Definite breach of guy etiquette. You always compare scars when asked! "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."
  9. No problem. You going to be at the WFFC? "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."

  20. I agree with PhillyKev. The most important thing to do at this point is whatever is best for your son. I don't know what that is but once you settle down from the initial anger you will figure it out. He is a good looking kid. Take care of him first. 21. Congrats Clay. It's about time. Did they have to crochet that suit or what? "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."
  22. Actually, your new friends won't care that you're crazy because they are too.

Some seem to be really slacking on their posting. "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."
  24. We're stretching to find one now aren't we. I guess there is no possibility that he doesn't remember one memo out of a thousand that he was briefed on over six months ago. Not to mention that half of those memos describe possible violent acts of terror against the US. We've went from Bush lying about it to Cheney and now Ashcroft. We'll find a scape goat if it is the last thing we do. "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."
  25. Well the problem that I've found in the corporate world is that very few people are willing to tell someone that they are doing a poor job. Everyone is scared to death of confrontation. In the military it was expected that if you had a dirtbag as a subordinate you tell him 1)what he is doing wrong 2)what he must do to fix it 3)document it and followup to see if he is improving (big pat on the back) or still screwing up (time to start the chapter paperwork). In the corporate world (I work for General Electric, you can't get much more corporate) it seems if you have a dirt bag subordinate you 1)tell everyone around you that he is a dirtbag and complain about his performance constantly 2)act like nothing is wrong to his face 3)give him a mediocre performance appraisal because you don't have any justification to give him a poor one. When the dirtbag employee gets his mediocre appraisal he complains that he didn't get an outstanding one because he thought he was doing a great job. It is hard to tell someone they are not performing but in the long run it will help both you and him. He might not understand what you expect from him and will turn around 100% when counseled. If he doesn't then you can feel better that you gave him every opportunity to perform better when you axe him. FYI, the military method would work in the corporate world but you need effective leaders to implement it. The only thing that would be different is the allowable punishments ie you can't use barracks restriction, take away pay, etc. "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."
