the whole project...and if possible some of the transitions, but that's not a big deal...worst case senario i'll just redo a lot of it...it'll only take about an hour n a half or so

to take a windows movie maker project and have it work in Adobe Premiere pro without having the quality loss of windows movie maker...reason i ask is i'm helping a friend with a video he's makin, and i use adobe, he used windows movie maker for the orriginal, and i'm trying not to haveta do double the work....any pm's would be apprieciated.

thanks, i'll be looking into this camera as it seems pretty small...but seen as how i mainly use adobe, i'm guessin i might lean towards something adobe supports

if i could remember the name... anyways, was talking to a guy at the dz about a new camera supposidly HD which records straight to a card, no tape, no hard drive, no DVD...and apparently the quality is good, etc. Now i'm looking to buy/build a new camera setup for myself, but can't for the life of me figure out what the camera was called....anyone got any guesses? And i would ask him again, but i'm moving out of state this weekend, so i wont be seeing him at the DZ for probably 6 years

i guess that is what they were doing...i had jumped at a few other dz's while my liscense was expired...just didn't know the reason i had to renew it to jump. thanks for the info

i use a PC 109...very low profile, and battery lasts long....good quality video too. However, as stated you need a docking station/firewire to transfer video...not too much of a hassle for me, but some people seem to think so...different strokes for diff. folks i guess

So i was jumping at a dz, my uspa membership expired, and they said i could no longer jump there until i renewed...which i did, but i was wondering what the basis for this is?? If no answers get sent on here, i'll just ask the dzo next time i'm jumpin.

the only pics i'll watermark are the funjumpers, and it's in the lower right corner, not very big as not to ruin the picture. i always thought tandems paid enough to not have my name on every print they'd get

it doesn't bug me about having my pics online, some have actually caused other tandems to request me for a video/stills (proly the tandems friend, but either way i was slightly flattered) as for doing the fun jumpers vids/stills, i have been undercut by a newer flyer (doesnt' do it for work, just for fun) and figured that if nothing else i know i can give a quality movie/pics, whereas newer jumpers (aka almost 200 jumps, straps camera to head) may not know some of the editing/flying stuff...but o well. I've even referred people to better video flyers than myself awhile back because i wasn't sure i'd get the shots they wanted. Anyways, thanks for the info/advice. I think a lot of jumpers simply dont know what it takes to fly camera, both from the cost of equipment/tapes/etc to the experience needed.

being new at getting paid for my videos (i.e. tandem and now fun jumps too) i have a question about the pictures...i remember a thread kinda like this one before, but yea...here's my question: If you watermark your pictures, give them to a tandem/fun jumper, and they post them all over on the internet, legally are they supposed to pay you? Or is it more of if they are advertising something then you need to get paid for it? proly a stupid question, but like i said, i'm new. on a side note, how much do you charge when a fun jumper wants to get video from you...i normally do the jump slot and some change, but is there a standard i just havent heard of?

So i'll be heading to Ft. Sill for awhile (6-7 months) and was wondering where some good places to jump around there are, as well as if any dropzone in that area needs some video help for tandems. I have some videos i can send/show when i get there. Any pm's would be appreciated. Semper Fi

or you can just find a balloon pilot near you...i've done close to a dozen jumps for a case or 2 of beer...most of which i drank. You gotta help set up and takedown, but it's a friggin balloon jump...i'd do a lot more for one of those

yea, it worked fine with movie maker...i'm gonna try a firewire connection instead of a USB to see if that works. Thanks for your help, and let me know if you can think of anything else

when you say changing the "streaming" settings doyou mean to put it to usb streaming? or one of the other 3 options. I have it running on streaming right now, have double and triple checked the usb port being flipped on, and a few other things. Looks like i might be uninstalling and then re-installing the prgm.

So i know it's an old program, but i am cheap. My problem is that i have a pc109 and cant figure out how to capture the god damn film onto adobe...it just keeps saying "device is offline"...wtf? So as you all flame me, any help would be appreciated

I'm actually flying back home (Central WI) from training in VA during my thanksgiving vacation to go hunting with my uncle...i missed it for the first time in 10 years last year due to training...not gonna miss it again! ----o yea, i will bow hunt here in VA...i've kicked up a ton of nice bucks during patroling excersises What city do you hunt in WI? I hunt in Jackson and Wood counties mostly...gotten a couple decent bucks and a ton of does in the past 10 yrs
