I just got back from the Canadian/Alaskan Invasion Boogie, and it seemed all of the Alaskans were really good people. Then again, they're skydivers too. I hear the summer Solstice boogie is amazing. And they're gonna have some nice planes for it this year. I got nuthin

I've had a few come out in FF. It's kinda weird seeing that little blue thing fly out of your eye. Havn't had any actually lost though. Always stayed in the goggles OK. I got nuthin

Well, I'm back from Eloy. All in all it was a good trip, there were a few things could've made it better, but let's not dwell on that. I got to meet: Bbarnhouse, Snowbird, FreeflyHol, Wingnut and DZdiva. All very cool people. Unfortunately, I didn't jump with any of them, but it was still cool to meet 'em. Some other highlights were first mal, finally getting in an Otter, a couple of skydives where we just started cranking mad points, and a couple of real fun big(14-20ish) ways. And now I'm back, where it was -47*C with the wind-chill last night, I have a nasty cold and I gotta go to work tomorrow. Dah well, all good things come to an end, and I'll be back next year for sure. I got nuthin

I tried welbutrin a while ago. I didn't like the way it made me feel. Always sketchy and spacing out. Hope it works for you Kev. I had been on the patch, and I found it actually was a big help. My problem was thinking it wasn't doing that much, and not wearing it for a couple of days. I got nuthin

If you don't know how to fly a ram-air, it'll kill ya. I've seen an FJC fatality where the student flew a manta 288 straight into the ground. Maybe it'd be worth it to train pilots to fly them, but I'd imagine the military sees it as too much time/money to invest I got nuthin

As it's kind of the topic on this thread, I'm wondering how many people jump with audibles...And of those, how many rely on them? I swore I'd never jump one, b/c I didn't want to become dependant on one. Then I won a pro-dytter, so I may as well use it (if I ever get to jump again). But I'm just wondering how many people would be comfortable jumping with nothing but their pro-dytter/track as their only means of alti awareness? I got nuthin

As far as jumping with your buddies, that's something that you should be discussing with the instructors/experienced jumpers at your DZ. They know where you're at skill-wise. It's great to jump with your buddies, but in my experience it's more productive to jump with somebody who's got enough experience that they can tell you what you need to work on. And as Dave said, SMILE!!!!

What's yours? Personally, I can always laugh thinking of the one when Lisa was pretending to be a college student, and cruising around with her college friends she runs into Ralph. Just as Ralph is about to blow her cover, she screams 'Drive, Drive', and they speed off leaving Ralph alone. Then it shows him, he asks 'why do people run from me?' just before he pisses himself.
